Afternoon,

Today's Figma is another I've been waiting to purchase cheap, this time I have the battle android Labrys from Persona. She comes with three face plates, two hair styles, her battle axe with adjusting blade, various weapon arm extensions and the standard Figma accessories.

Like many other Figma figure this is one of several variants of the same character, with other variants going under the special labels EX and SP. Out of the two I prefer this one with her hair blue over the red hair version since it looks so unique. There are now over 500 different Figma figure to collect, though this being an expensive hobby it's good to pick your favorites after some heavy browsing.

Afternoon,

Today's Figma is another new release for 2019, this time the cyborg girl Bionic JoshiKosei from Arms Note. She comes with three face plates, two weapons, several gun magazines and accessories, her schoolbag, and the standard Figma accessories.

I like this figure for many reasons, but the main ones are her rolled up sleeve look and the new weaponry included. Most Figma figures use full costume looks with sleeves so I appreciate getting a model to use that gives me more options for custom looks. Also her shoulder length hair mirrors my enjoyment of that look for full size dolls, I've actually gotten a bigger preference for that look overall since it provides a lightly more mature look to most faces.

Today's Figma is another I've been hoping to get cheaper, the warship Kashima from Kancolle. She comes with three face plates, turret assembly with ammo case, binoculars with bag, and the standard Figma accessories.

Afternoon,

Today's Figma is the cute divine goddess Aqua from KonoSuba. She comes with three face plates, magic staff with various magic accessories, dual fans with water effects, and the standard Figma accessories.

I really like the face plates on this figure, I haven't watched the show but the expressions she has just make me laugh a lot. In that spirit I've chosen the funniest face picture to include here she has floating around the net, which makes me laugh every time I see it.

Afternoon,

Today's Figma is the powerful knight Mordred from Fate / Grand Order. She comes with three face plates, bull helmet, two great swords with accessories, additional shoulder plates, and the standard Figma accessories.

The chrome style pieces on this figure are so well done, I really enjoyed taking the photos for this figure due just to them and their stellar appearance and finish. This particular figure features additional articulation so the armor doesn't get in the way of complicated poses, sporting dual joints in areas like the shoulders and torso, making this little figure on par with or exceeding the articulation of any love doll.

She of course though isn't meant for loving, just fighting.

Afternoon,

Today's Figma is another new release for 2019, this time the cute sniper girl from Arms Note, Long-Range JoshiKosei. She comes with three face plates, two additional hair pieces, handgun and sniper rifle with strap, additional skirt and scarf pieces, support robot, and the standard Figma accessories.

This figure comes from the most recent line of Figma figures, the 400-500 serial, and comes with a new feature I've noticed with newer figures in the swappable hair sections. Before this, releases that used separate hair style would include two complete separate heads, which can easily be seen on the Lucina figure from Fire Emblem.

With this figure instead one head is included and portions of the hair can be easily swapped out like the face plates, though on a personal level I liked having two separate heads since I customize my figures, and having two heads per figure adds to the variety I'd have to choose from.

Afternoon,

Today I have a light change of pace, I recently acquired a figure of Illustrious from Azur Lane I've been hoping to find cheap one day.

For this figure she's wearing the Tea Party outfit, which both looks elegant and incredibly sexy. The figure reminds me heavily of the DS 145 plus, my favorite doll body, so I was immediately interested in it; out of what are probably thousands of available statues for anime women, this is the only recent one that has caught my eye, and I'm happy to be able to take nice photos of her.

Afternoon,

This next statue is the first actual anime statue I bought, the cute elf woman Kirika Towa Alma from Shining Resonance.

I purchased it months after playing the actual game she comes from, and this variant with the maple orange outfit was an instant buy though I shopped around a bit first since these things aren't really cheap.

Her standout features include an option for disassembly (legs / skirt / upper torso / head can be swapped with other variants of her statue), butterfly adornments, and of course those long elf ears.

Afternoon,

The last statue I'll post here is a unique one in a way, this one is Ignis of the Endless Winter from Jingai Makyou. In this form she wear a long flowing wedding style dress with morphed blade along with sporting real elf ears.

Another statue I purchased a while ago, I mainly bought it because of the elf ears and red hair; no joke, I really like elven characters. This one is exceptionally well detailed and is preferable to the standard look for this character, I usually buy variants anyway since most of the time a variant of a figure looks better than the original, something most well seen in Hatsune Miku merchandise.

Lastly this figure has a special design mostly seen in XXX anime figures, where the clothing is made from a softer plastic and can be nearly fully removed to have the figure stand nude, though for this figure she still at least has underwear on.

Enjoy the photos, I'll be moving back into photographing regular Figma figures after this statue, there are new figures being released nearly every month with many I want to eventually get around to.

Afternoon,

Today's Figma is another hybrid one, based on Ayase Eli from Love Live.

The head from Eli is a great one for modeling since it has a few smiling face plates, and is a perfect match to the body from Warspite. For legs I'd prefer chunky ones but since Eli's original body used thinner legs I choose the ones from Dead Master with her heeled shoes for now since they fit the theme.

Afternoon,

I'm back from the Frank and Sons collectables show with more figures, today's Figma is another new release for the 400-500 series. This time I have Musashi from Fate / Grand Order. She comes with three faces plates, dual swords with secondary hilts, eating utensils, and the standard Figma accessories.

Musashi comes with some amazing detail, including her dual sword sheathes attached using tiny plastic loops and several layers used in many sections to create her detailed robes and accessories, including a saw blade looking piece used as her hair ornament. My favorites part is definitely the use of color, I really like fantasy style designs that use intense colors especially with blues, reds, and purples.
