Once used on some planet called Naboo in a distant galaxy they were transported as beasts of burden by Gork's Space traveling ancestors who were in fact escaping Sith Marauders (Sith Witches love to consume their souls as they count as 10 puny human souls). Once they crash landed on Paradise Island they fell into a primitive life style similar to our Native American Indians. Those weapons that they have are ancient relics and limited in number.
