Well I'm in a S***ty mood right now too. While the robots have been cleaning up the house Chloe snuck into the sewing room and made herself a new dress and matching belt, her best effort yet I might add. ..Only trouble is she used my pajama pants to make them with. ...ggrrrr...now I'll have to sleep in the nude. ....!

Pphheeeefffff.....Chloe can be so persuasive.
The lucky girl got one more accessory this afternoon. This time a big bag so she can put the stuff in. The red one I made was just for show only it cannot be opened. But this one will be able to be opened.
First of all I made a paper pattern and cut out the leather scrap.

Next fold and glue the bottom in and hold with pegs. Then fold and glue the top which will be the top front Edge and clamp with the Bulldog clip.

Next fold in the sides and put a line of glue on one edge. These flaps could have been made a little longer would have made it easier.

Fold the two halfs over and clamp.

Then do the same with the other side and clamp as well. The red bag is for size reference only. And show you that things can be put inside the new bag.

Next I took a piece of lace cut it into 3 pieces and braided it. (Plaited)
It looks tricky but I'm sure many people on TDF will know how to braid hair on their dolls, it's the same principle. Right side over the top into the middle then left over the top into the middle then right over the top into the middle again. Etc etc. Make sure the ends of the braids are glued together so it does not fall apart when the clamp is removed.

After the glue was dry and I removed all the clamps and then cut a small piece from a fridge magnet, the flexible kind and glued that to either side. This will keep the flap stuck together. But make sure you know which way the magnets stick before you glue them in case they repel when you try to push them together.
You can see in this photo there is plenty of room inside the bag.

Measure the height at which you want your bag to sit on your ladies hip and then glue the braided strap into the back edge of the bag.

Because I did all this in a rush and did not allow the glue to dry properly when I glued in the strap,the sides of the bag came unstuck. So I had to re glue them.
Once the glue is partly dry check to make sure that the strap is only sticking to the sides of the bag and nowhere else. If you need to prize anything apart you can do it before the glue fully sets.

Once that was checked I added a little glitter Dot to finish it off. $3 packet from the craft shop.

Now I will leave it overnight to fully dry and then tomorrow I'm sure Chloe will want to do a photoshoot to show off her new " usable" shopping bag. For now I need to sleep.

Chloe looks sharp in that dress. That bag looks awesome, too. I hope this creativity continues after the big doll gets here. I imagine she will benefit from this as well.

Well Chloe has been bugging me all night to do a shoot with her new bag, She said it will keep my mind off my poor Wm140 stuck in customs..
So we had some fun...
She is such a little monkey so she insisted on the monkey backdrop..hahaha.

Actually I think she wants to try and teach C3p0 how to dance tomorrow....?? That will be interesting.. she will want to get...pardon the pun.. all "dolled up" lol

Yes, I've been thinking that for a while Lone-R.. I have already got some really cool scenario's in the pipeline just waiting to burst out, and today I found one more fantastic "secret" cuddly item in my local shop catalog that will really compliment her and set the scene for her personality. Hope I can get it tomorrow after work.
Also I have got a professional set of studio/umbrella lights that will be of great benifit.

I mainly use 3 tools for photographing Chloe, my little lipstick style brush to comb her hair, this wood handle craft tool that is really good for moving her hair, loose threads and small parts around etc, and a standard fluro light, that's all.

Tonight I gathered my family all together for a little sit down talk.

My new WM140 lady should be arriving tomorrow so I need you all to be on your best behaviour, I said.
But toys, being toy's where a little hard to settle down. Chole who was the most excited about the arrival was teasing C3p0, trying to convince him his arm matches her hand bag and he should carry it all the time., She was very fidgety and couldn't sit still, flicking her shoes all over the place. And I think BB-8 had powered down coz he had done all the house work on his own while the others just played all day.
But eventually I got there attention,

Then smokey after realizing what had just been said got so excited he dropped the biggest dragon poop I've ever seen.

And ted thinking it was a chocolate promptly ate it, fell into a deep sleep and started snoring.....
Roo and Pussy couldn't handle the noise and disappeared, Then Chloe with a cheeky laugh, and the droids started to dress up Ted in girls clothes while he slept pretending he was my new lady...

I give up. Shook my head, gave up on my talk and and went off to have a snack.
After finishing my cake I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and who should I find standing in front of the mirror. You guessed it. Chloe checking out her bum to make sure that she will be as pretty as my new lady....
