And welcome Sandra. You look great as well
Re: Meet the GirlsGang
Thank you Mondoon, we will arrange a meeting with Lisa in spring time.Mondoon wrote:Welcome to TDF Sandra, looking cool on that Vespa. It's a very nicely made scale model, Katie would like one but they're hard to find in her size.
Nice way to get about though. Perhaps she could meet up with Lisa and her motor bike and they could go for a day out.
I tried riding a Vespa once, I nearly fell off.
Great shots of them both GG, we expect no less.
Happy Christmas and waves from the sofa on the plains.
Thank you for stopping by Justin, it is always nice to read your commentsJustinBridou wrote:Ha, ha, ha, strange but I'm in the same situationGirlsGang wrote:Just noticed that I did not post here for 10 months
As alredy mentioned, I have some new Phicens which I did not introduce yet.
...
Some months ago, I had spoted the vespa-sidecar model, but was a bit space consuming. Look like perfect for an Italian's style doll (sure you have some nice brunette in your stock ).
If you're looking for vehicles, there is a very nice model announced for the new year : an ECTO-1 at 1/6 scale. Of course, it's the Cadillac ambulance from Ghostbusters. Very detailled, with Leds, but has only 4 seats for 1/6 dolls. Price is about 1700 € Nothing to do with the Lego, Playmobil nor 1/18 model, and a bit bigger than the Vespa : it's long about 1,16 meter !!! (look for "blitzway ums10401" at eBay - Blitzway also produce the figurines for Ghostbusters).
Happy Christmas and Welcome to Sandra (don't forget your helmet).
Hi HD, thank you for chiming in, Sandra is always happy reading compliments.hansdampf21 wrote:Very nice photo session GG. I like the scooter a lot.

That looks excellent, especially with the Christmas tree.
I hope no-one has tried to jump off lately.
Merry Christmas to all the inhabitants of Bookshelf City.

Is Samira and Sandra the beginning of the three S's?
We love that white fluffy coat, shame it's too small for Katie.
Bookshelf City just grows and grows. They will need a miniature village soon.
All the best from the plains.

It is the beginning of the four S's. The fluffy coat was tricky to get on, because the sleeves are quite narrow. A decent aluminum tube helpedMondoon wrote:Very interesting take on 'girls in glasses' and lovely shots too. I like that, original.

Thank you Kim, we will see what happens.
Sandra, Sabine and Sabrina asked me to do a photoshoot for the cat E photo contest, showing what they can do with their new scooters.
She does not really look happy

Re: Meet the GirlsGang
Well, i thought about the background and at first sight it seemed like a railroad to me (then i would have shouted: 'oh my, is there a train coming??')
But then i looked closer and now i have no clue what it really would be.
I can however imagine that it will be difficult to drive on that surface with the scooters, as their dampers aren't suited there.
And maybe that's why one of the girls didn't look so happy...?
That's just something i had on my mind.
If Lisa and your girls will meet for a ride-out with their scooters, she will insist on choosing another road
Well, Klara or Karla could manage off-road tracks with her ATV, but that would be unfair

The background is an old railroad track, it vanishes in fog and trees: viewtopic.php?p=1009215#p1009215hansdampf21 wrote:Yes, the the 3 girls and the scooters look great!

Don't have a road background (yet?) and I am not good at manipulating images.
I tried to show that the wheel of the sidecar is lifted giving Sabrina a "concerned " face.
For the girls trip we have to choose a nice road in the mountains somewhere
