The boys: my male BJD's
I started collecting some smaller dolls about 1-2 years ago. BJD's are amazing and great for taking pictures. This is my samurai, Setsu. He is a 70 cm model by Ringdoll with the Moyu face sculpt. He is based on the character of the same name from the Japanese/Taiwanese show "Thunderbolt Fantasy." There will be lots more pics to come. He is also-ahem-fully anatomically correct.

Thanks! He is still considered 1/3 scale, as is my other bjd, who is 73 cm. It kinda sucks that each doll company has their own measurements. Makes finding clothes that fit properly a bit of a challenge other than to buy from the same company that makes the doll.carlys_guy wrote:nice doll thanks for posting him. 70 cm is an odd size isn't it works out to 27.5 inches so bigger than 1/3 scale.

Re: The boys: my male BJD's
if I remember correctly, Iplehouse (Korean company) makes 70cm male dolls, and that I remember they make them with 2 or 3 different body styles (i.e. one very muscular, one more normal looking), so they might make one close enough in size to your Setsu that the clothing they make for their dolls might fit your SetsuShadowCat wrote:Thanks! Hopefully, 7 months doesn't really mean 14 months...
Re: The boys: my male BJD's
I ordered the doll pictured below in January. Loongsoul production time is usually about 6-8 months. They warned me it would be at least a year for this one due to the pandemic. Oh well.ShadowFun wrote:Wow, Setsu is gorgeous! I do not have any bjd's right now but in a fit of madness at the end of last year, I did order a 1/4 DollShe. I had no idea 7 months for production was considered "normal" in the bjd world... *Sigh*
