Adelea's minis!

Right now, I have just the one here - a Phicen S09 called Felicity.

She has been sat on my office shelf for the past week or so in just underwear, whilst I was waiting on clothes to arrive.

The first outfit I had ordered is just a tiny bit too small for her - hopefully it will fit on the Phicen S22 I am waiting on.

However, today her stiletto heels arrived - and they are gorgeous! Unfortunately, the heel is really fine and delicate, and has broken on one of the shoes. I think I may need to remove a bit more, and then fit a steel pin in its place - so it resembles those high heels with a silver metal stem.

She looks very sexy in that outfit. It's a shame the heel broke so soon. So much detail in such a small doll, in the right context one could easily mistake her for a real person. I almost did until I saw the styrofoam background

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed! But to be fair, the heel is about 0.5mm thick at the point it broke. I think the metal pin will work OK!

And yes I agree, the detail on these is amazing in something only 12" tall.

She does look pretty foxy yes! It hasn't really been a hardship having to keep her dressed like this

Felicity looks fantastic.
Her outfit is really lovely and her shoes are great, pity about the heel though.
Looking forward to her future photosets.

The 2nd body I had ordered arrived, but no head for it as yet.

I dressed her in the outfit I had that didnt fit Felicity, and well, staining is a thing! So I took it off, and am researching stain removal Some posts say to leave it, and it will fade - so I will try that. Failing that, I will need some sort of ball gown for her to cover it all!

The stockings are also really short - barely knee length, so will need to try and get some longer ones.

I also built, lets call it, a Scandi minimalist sofa! Somewhere for them to sit and pose. I'll put some padding on and upholster it at some point.









To the naked eye, the hands and feet look the same colour. I guess there are some colour adjustments that need to be made here

I did - looks like my domain transfer has started, so right now there is nowhere for it to get the images from.

I like the sofa you made for them. Could easily be flat-pack from IKEA! Ha ha.
All you need now is some more furniture for their "house".

Been looking at the threads for these mini-dolls. Very interesting.
Some great photo possibilities using the cheap photo backdrops that you can get.
They're great if you have a small house or limited space.
Also easy to take outside somewhere for some better locations, just pop them in a bag/rucksack.
I'll probably get one of these little beauties soon.

pics show up now, they look good some use acne cream with peroxide on the big dolls try sending a PM to loneranger he may know how to deal with stains.

Well, you’ve taken the plunge down the rabbit hole then! Be careful though, they are addictive! Felicity is very pretty! Heads are sometimes difficult to match in skin colour as LoneRanger has found.

As for stains, yeah, I’m afraid they stain just like the ‘big’ dolls if you’re not careful! You could try Benzoil Peroxide (acne cream) but it is expensive here (getting on for £10 a tube) but the stains do tend to fade after a week or two. It’s best to powder them using a fine haired makeup brush before putting clothes on though. It gives a barrier between skin and clothes but also helps get the clothes on in the first place!

Taking them out for shoots is great as people don’t seem to take much notice of a weirdo taking photos of a small doll! The problem is mainly with camera focus on something small in the foreground and large (like buildings) in the background! I took Miette out to King’s College in Cambridge last summer and there were hundreds of tourists there with no one taking any notice of me at all! Trouble was focus though and I only got a few of her in focus with the College in the background also in focus!

Brushing with powder definitely helped with the stockings this time, they just slid on! I didnt use a fine brush though, I used the big puffy one I use to powder Adara Seems to have done the job!

I do have another body/head arriving soon - so, yeah I know what you mean about addictive! They are just so cute though

Yeah, I’ve recently got two of the 12th scale Phicens and they are just as detailed but tiny!

The ‘black’ one is a Jiaou Doll that I stained to be black plus a Barbie head!

What is the availability of clothes like for them? And shoes - especially heels ?
