Well I am not sure why you are making that outside, unless it is movable. Before you finish have you considered putting in lights??

I will share with you what I have learned...

I wanted digitial strips...I found this cheap photo tent that has two strip digital lights in it. I simple cut them off, tossed the rest, and had 2 nice digital lights that I put into the ceiling.

For extra lights I also have some disgitial work lights that have 3 settings - strong, soft and spot light.

Thanks for the tip, I like the strips, I'll look into those. The cabin is going to be much too big to move around, so I'll actually be somewhat weatherproofing it. I'm an old electrician by trade, so I have some LED lights I plan on using. I also have plans for an operational hot tub for the girls to enjoy, remains to be seen if I can make that happen.....

I just re-read the story......I can do better. More to come...

I'm still hoping you will have removable panels of some kind so you can photograph them from different angles inside each room.. it will make for more interesting pics.. nothing worse than not being able to get a good shot coz something is in the way..

My trade secret.. don't tell anyone.. hehehe... every set I make has only two walls, they are all removable and reversible. and some can be flat packed away.. i make them so the window backdrop pictures can be changed.. so inside each room looks like a complete room from different angles.. of course each picture is a bit of a challenge but hey, what good is all this without a challenge..

but i do love you set up..

You have great building skills.. Maybe you should refine it, make a pattern, flat pack it so it can be sold online to 1/6 figure enthusiasts.. ???

My retractable roof idea worked. I can push the roof back, drop the back wall, and step inside for setup and photos. I'm actually going to have to lie down inside to finish up some of the interior.

I wonder how the building is going. It's been a long time since any updates. That house should be at lock up stage by now should be all painted and appliances in place?
Hope we will find out soon...
