Static Electricity- HELP

Post by EBmoist »

OK- I know its not me, Its the time of year when the air gets dry. You putting on a new wig on your girl , and viola!, her hair is standing on end, its zapping , hair is sticking to her like glue. Ive looked around and havent seen any decent solutions with knocking out the staic charge that a doll can get.
Does anybody have a good solution that can tame it?

Try adding moisture to the doll with a damp wash cloth or somehow conduct and transfer the electric current out of the doll with a metal wire hanger perhaps? These are generic solutions but should work.

Rubber "grounding" mats could prevent the transfer of an electric current. You could also try using a metal comb on her hair or simply using a humidifier machine to add moisture to the air.
