Side note: came across something the other day I thought had some serious potential for under $600 (base version, paint doesn't matter if fur is added), just needs some punched fur, though that is likely the kicker for price to go north of $1500+...

Well, long story short I don't think I will be able to continue this project, not only because of the time it was taking me but also other commitments, and possibly getting into a new house soon (so any items I can trim down on is a plus).

I just created a for sale post, including all the leftover items that I bought to put into the doll.

I may just have to take over this quest. As an (amateur) artist, I am interested in trying to make a "furry" head that would be compatible with a doll, even though I am not really into that genre myself, I see it as an interesting artistic challenge. I have experience sculpting and mold making, as well as working with fur. The challenge, as I see it, is to make something has has a more sexy and realistic look. I've already started my sculpt. This will take some time and I will probably start a new thread once its done. But for all the furries out there, there is still hope to see a furry head.

Its a shame to see this project end under your stewardship, Iv'e been lurking on this thread for a bit and you were doing a good job. Good luck with your life-stuff and if you start up another project i'd be interested in seeing it.
