Here's my review of MannequinFan's updated eyelids, the new and improved V6 Eyelid design.
First of all, I'll say that up until now, I've been very happy with MF's previous eyelid design. Veronica has owned a set along with the previous EME eyeball design for a year now, without any issues. They've been simple to use and create the desired effect. However, now that I've had the opportunity to try these new V6 eyelids, I feel they are a vast improvement over the old design and they perfectly compliment the new V7 eyeball/pedestal design, reviewed by Panther68 here -
Here's a few photos comparing the old eyelids with the new V6 design...

In this pic you can see the improved shape of the new design. Notice it is more of a "half moon" shape compared to the old eyelid...
Here's where it gets interesting.. Notice the half moon shape of the new design conforms nicely to the eyeball, allowing natural movement between both components, whereas the old design leaves a slight gap between the eyeball and edges of the eyelid...
I also like the natural color of the plastic on the new eyelids. They're easy to "paint" with your favorite eye shadow and eyeliner, or they can be left as is...
I prefer the new design's eyelash notch to the flange of the old design and found it relatively simple to install new lashes. Most eyelash kits these days are the self-adhesive type and their natural shape fits the contour of these eyelids very well. I found the easiest method for me was to press the new lashes into the eyelid groove using a toothpick, then flow super glue into the groove along the back of the lash, using the toothpick as a glue applicator...
That done, it was then time to give Veronica some fresh eye shadow and eyeliner, install her new V7 eyeballs and V6 eyelids with new luscious lashes... Then she wanted to try out her new MF37 "Ana Hazel" irises .. Please forgive her imperfections; She's getting older and her TPE is showing a little age...
...The best thing about the new eyelids is how naturally they sit between the TPE and the eyes, creating an overall more natural look and eliminating the scared/deer-in-the-headlights look that is so common on doll faces. Veronica is very happy and continues to be a huge fan of MannequinFan accessories! She'll definitely be adding more MF items to her collection in the future !

BTW, using the toothpick is a nice idea - I'll need to try that myself.
Thanks for sharing! Haven´t yet come to attach lashes to the new lids I have for couple of weeks now. But good tip with toothpick and superglue which should spare me bits of experimenting time. MF´s accessories simply rock!
She tends to be a little camera shy, so no pictorials yet... I need to get around to creating an album and posting some eye candy for you all one of these days..
