I've chosen modern, graphite-composite paintball tanks since they meet enough criteria to make them good candidate for energy storage in a pneumatic powered robot.

The other options are too heavy or potentially unsafe (electric air pump/liquid nitrogen/air  ).

You can attach multiple tanks to a robot's frame to match its energy needs. 8O

So, one design consideration will be to make the robot's 'frame' large/long enough to accommodate extra/larger tanks as needed.
Why didn't I take the blue pill?

I'm sure you could possibly fill these tanks on your own too. Scaling the body up will be difficult, because the larger you go, the more tanks you need, so gotta be careful
We are truly in an age of doll expansion. Sure it's the wild west, with each manufacturer trying to out do one another and society still poo-pooing dolls, but eventually, the age will mature, order will be found and one day we can bring out ladies anywhere.

I'll be posting this link on the other active robot topics. For your consideration: Poppy

Completely open source. Even the tablet app. I'm thinking that I might start here and build off that project.

Website I found her on:

IMUs would provide sensor feedback to calculated positions and angles based on expansion from soft actuators. These values would be compared, and the AI would adjust the soft actuators until the IMUs' position is true to the desired end state.

I've had bad luck if I rely on more than 1 IMU. They drift really bad. take a look at my pics, they seem like your sketch? No?
