It involves getting skulls from different manufacturers, and making molds.
Just for my own pleasure, of course.

Hoping to procure bare heads from the manufacturers I will buy dolls from, and make my own molds.
Everyone is talking about dolls that look like celebs, well they have already made life casts for movies.

2+2= fun for me.

You can get them all on Ebay. I'm only planning on making the heads for my own personal use, so I don't see how I could be sued. So far I have Uma, Angie, Halley, Julia, Anne Hathaway, Ingrid Bergman (superb detail in that cast), Winona, and Chloe Moretz is on the way. I'm getting more in a bit.
They are interesting things to have up on the wall. So cool to have their actual faces to look at up close, wrinkles, and all.

Unfortunately, Halley was scratched up by customs. I'll try to fix it, but she might have to be replaced.

Are you planning on using TPE or Platinum Silicone? Oral canal or no?

Yeah, I've thought of the same thing, but I haven't done it. Basically, the thought was to first finish off and seal the life mask with something like varnish, and then to apply mold release to it. Next a two part mold could then be made with platinum silicone reinforced with plaster of Paris bandages. Finally a full silicone head with a foam core could be produced. Of course this is a greatly simplified description of the process, but you can find every step detailed in life casting and mask making videos from such sites like Smooth-on.

The material I use will depend on the body I'm making the head for. Matchy matchy.
I think silicon is easiest to do, but I'll have to do a lot more research.

Obviously, Uma already has her mouth open, so I'll try to give her a tongue, and teeth.
The others mouths are closed, but I don't think that makes it impossible, just more difficult.
I may have to cast a silicon head, then physically prop open the lips to make another mold.

What is key is acquiring the head cores from different manufacturers, so I can mate them with the bodies I buy.
I'll be hoping to find the right size cores too. These ladies have tiny heads. They all look so small.

Well, I think the next step is to learn how to make silicone heads out of these molds, put makeup on them, and sell those celebrities heads.

I'm going to make molds of these, as is for reference. The casts I make from those molds will be refined, and I'll have to sculpt the backs of the heads, and ears in some cases. I'll have to smooth down the areas covering hair to where the scalp should be. Not sure what to do about the eyes yet. I might try versions with opened eyes.
It will be a lot of work, but ultimately rewarding.

Searched Google and ebay for relevant terms to find these and start planning my build. I'm having a hard time finding them. Could you help with a link please?

Edit... The difference in results from "Celebrity Life cast", and "Celebrity lifecast" are night and day. I'm getting closer.
