The disassembled Kimber mini is still minus the skeleton but am starting to get interested in the electric blanket warmed headless dead octopus.
The degree of flexiblity is quite attractive when an arm is draped over me, no effort required manipulating the joints.
Don't believe there is a dead octopus fetish developing but not discounting anything at this stage.

Did attempt to stuff some pieces of elastomer inside the mounting cavity and weld it with a hot rod.
Gave that away when the rod slipped, so back to testing silicone on some elastomer scrapps.
Will know in a couple of days how good (or not) the bonding.

To be honest and save you time for the formulation for longevity, flexibility and rigor...this is the only cohesive or adhesive that's going to do the job for that scale (without hot melt tpe fusion)

Thanks Anung for adhesive information.
Would have preferred hot fusion but too difficult for my tech & skills (mostly skill lacking thereof)

Lots of marks to ignore in the dark the controller is set on 3, the metal is 34c, the elastomer is going to need a couple of hours and still no smokies, yet

Was going to post a pic of the Roof & Guttering silicone join.
Pulling two small pieces of elastomer apart and taking a picture just was not going to happen with only two hands.
It did show adhesion after a few hours, but again the long term effect on the elastomer remains an unknown

Gave the setup a run last night and when it came to cleaning it up, disassembly.
The dead warm octopus is back.
Also my elastomer welding is crap, failed with douching, now a wet dead warm octopus.

The Kimber mini has been an instructive experience

Found the Handbook TPE repair kit "comfort" pdf by following posts related to Indigo
Now added Handbook Cold-welding TPE & TPR diffusion adhesive as well and stored in my Kimber folder

Yes Comfort was the original kit formulation from a couple of years back, the CWA is the new revised and more effective one.

Glad we could assist, now just got to convince Indigo to list it on Ebay, to avoid BS import fees down under (so we can pay GST at eBay check out, and avoid BS GST determinations and outrageous hold fees for import duty calculation)

Somebody has to be shafted in order to raise government revenue and it sure ain't gonna be them

You might want to look away at this point.

With this doll in the condition it is in:
1. Decided to keep the dead octopus with an electrically heated partial skeleton
