Head joint on S152

Post by bartzm »

I have a Sino 152 Amanda doll that I've received about a month ago.
I'm having difficulty with the head joint.
It's very hard to put the head fully down (the neck has to be straight) on the joint,
and it comes off too easily (sometimes just touching the head makes it pop up).

Anybody else experience that problem ?
Am I doing something wrong when I install the head ?

Well, that's what happens often unfortunately.
It doesn't come off completely, but I still have to push it back in position constatly.
Kind of kill the mood...

Hi,

first you need to find out which type of neck connector you have.

"Old connector":

The old connector from last year was a bit fiddly to operate and I couldn't figure out how to make it reliably sit tight. If you have a doll with the old connector, it might not be so easy to make it work. But this connector isn't used for several months anymore.

"New connector":

The new connector is easier to use. But sometimes the head does not slide smoothly onto the neck 'spigot', so it does not lock. For a tight connection you need to push it down firmly until it locks. You will hear a click when it locks. After that, the head will not roll off by itself.
