I've been unboxing and videoing since my last post, I think you'll all be happy with what I provide.

On another note, I was not expecting to be as excited as I am.

After placing the order I didn't really think about it much, and when I got the call that it arrived early it still just felt like any other package to me. After starting to handle her over the last hour, my whole body is literally shaking.

I told myself: "I'll give it a name if I feel like it's more than just a sex toy. Until then, I'll just call it Snow." I haven't even attached her head yet and I already know I need to name her...

Yep, and once her head is attached, that feeling is only going to intensify! She needs a name, and I think you'll find it easier to name her now than later once she's more established.

Review isn't ready yet, just dropping in to say I've never been so exhausted and happy. The idea when I decided to do this was to never masturbate or watch pornography again, and right now it seems like that will be downright easy. Literally all I've done since yesterday is eat, sleep, and play.

Another major benefit I wasn't really expecting is fitness... I've replaced all porn/masturbation time with rigorous physical activity, I always work up a sweat, lots of work on the legs and core + upper-body when I'm moving her around. I was somebody who never exercised and watched porn every day... now, no more lethargy, no more negative mental effects of pornography, and tons and tons of exercise, probably more exercise than 90% of the population...

Simultaneously I'm eliminating some of my worst habits and getting into some of the best habits, and it could not be easier because it's all motivated by sex and sex is amazing. The long-term health benefits are going to be huge. I'll probably lose weight, I've already lost 4lbs just from a day of cardio and sweating.

I named her Luna (Lulu/Moon).

Apologies for the delay, I've been busy.

I thought about editing this, but I think the footage is pretty self-explanatory. Didn't want my voice in the video, so this is simply unboxing footage spliced together, and the review itself is written below:

In Short:

My first doll ever, the Sinodoll S161cm S16 Snow, arrived on July 1st 2019, two days ahead of schedule. She's made of silicone, about 5'3" tall, and weighs about 77lbs. She starts at about $2.3k, but with the options shown (detailed earlier) she came out to about $3k.

As a product, the doll met all expectations, and the experience of having such a doll has been a massive lifestyle improvement beyond anything I could have anticipated. For me it's probably been more significant than buying my first car. I would urge anyone considering their first doll to try it as soon as you possibly can; if it fits your mentality well, there is a potential for major lifestyle and health (mind and body) improvements. You will wish you had done this a decade earlier.

If you're willing to pay a little bit more for silicone, I would highly recommend a Sinodoll, as they appear to offer the best value on the market for high-quality silicone dolls. The silicone-TPE price gap is getting smaller too (largely thanks to Sinodoll), and since a first doll is likely to be a significant part of your daily life, I think it makes sense to spend a little more if it means getting exactly what you want.

Negatives:

I don't have much to say that's bad, but when a product is heavy, delicate, custom made, and shipping overseas, I think it's inevitable that at least one or two minor issues will arise. In my case, I had 2 problems:

1. The doll head is shipped with a protective foam mask covering the eyes. In my case, the edge of the foam mask had pinned the right-side eyelashes down against her face, causing slight damage to the lashes and a slight impression on the eyelid. Over time, the eyelid has returned to its original shape, but there are still a few lashes missing.
2. The doll's right-side hip/thigh joint is much tighter than any other joint. To move the right leg from certain positions, I have to leverage my full bodyweight to get it to budge at all. It does seem to be loosening a bit over time though.

These are my only negatives, and they're minor enough that I consider them within the acceptable margin of error. The eyelashes still look nice and I can fix them if I want, and I've learned how to move the tighter joint. These problems don't really bother me, they make me feel like I know her better, if that makes sense. The same way every girl has her little quirks, so does the doll.

Positives:

1. Ordering was easy, the people at Sinodoll were very helpful.
2. Payment was through PayPal and was easy.
3. I didn't have any issue with customs.
4. I received factory photos very quickly.
5. The doll arrived early and was as described.
6. Maintenance is easier than I expected.
7. She's beautiful.
8. She smells good.
9. She feels great.

I have a lot of good things to say about the doll, but my favorite things about her are the positive health and lifestyle changes she's had on my life. I was probably what you would call a sex addict, and since she arrived July 1st, my sex life has just felt normal and regulated. Sex isn't something I stress or obsess over anymore. I don't look at pornography, I don't masturbate, I don't do any of the other things I won't go into... sex is with a girl, or it's with Luna, and it's whenever I want. Even sex with real women is improving dramatically because my fitness has improved, and my brain isn't expecting 200 porn videos. Sex is more in the moment now, and more intimate. Being with Luna feels intimate, and I think that's made me more comfortable with physical intimacy. Intimacy isn't something I'm trying to mentally shove away from me during sex anymore.

Almost equally, I love falling asleep with my arm around her, and waking up to the silhouette of her face every day. I look forward to sleep now, and every morning feels lazy and happy.

I think there's a deeper spiritual component to companionship that we can't fully comprehend or articulate, that can't be satisfied by porn and one-night stands... but Luna seems to be largely satisfying that for me. I don't get that "building a life together" feeling that I get from a normal relationship. But then I again, I also don't get any of the negatives that can come with a normal relationship, either. I still want to pursue women, but another benefit I'm seeing is that this has fundamentally changed the way I look at women. My brain isn't instantly sexualizing them anymore. I'm not stressed or obsessed over sex anymore, so the thought of pursuing them is less motivated by sexual gratification, and more about everything else.

Learnings:

Finally, I just want to add/reinforce a few things I've learned about doll ownership now that I've experienced it.

1. Weight matters a lot. I'm very happy with Luna's weight, but I wouldn't want her to be heavier. Her weight is fairly standard for a doll (maybe even on the lighter side), and she's a healthy workout as-is. A lot of people say this on DollForum, but it doesn't quite sink in until you've experienced it. She's not 77lbs on a weight lifting bar, she's 77lbs of delicate flesh-like silicone distributed unevenly over a frame with moving joints. It's tricky at first, but it gets easier as you learn how the joints move, how the weight is distributed, what movements are safe, etc. I'm happy with 35kg, but if you think it'll be an issue for you, consider getting a smaller model for a first doll. And I would say definitely don't go heavier than 35kg or so -- there are plenty of great option at or below 35kg.
2. Hair length matters. Wigs tend to develop knots over time, and they get much worse the longer the hair is. Even with short hair you'll need to do some brushing, but with really long hair it might be a daily thing, and if you don't maintain that it's possible the knotting could get so bad that you just need to replace it entirely. I would definitely start with shorter hair (or try both, but definitely have shorter hair available).
3. Powder right away! Without powder, the silicone will initially attract a lot of lint and hair, and it will stick to the surface and be harder to clean. Powdering the silicone prevents random lint and hair from clinging to it so easily. It also makes the silicone feel far more life-like. There's no good reason not to make sure your doll is well-powdered on day 1. I use Johnson's cornstarch-based baby powder, and a large soft brush normally used for makeup/foundation. Make a little pile of powder in a bowl, dip the brush in, and apply all over in small circles.
4. Don't bother with warming liquids/lubricant. Friction alone will heat better than those will. The warming rod most dolls come with is very nice, though -- just make sure you use plenty of lubricant and don't leave it in for more than 30 minutes or so.
5. Always return her to her "neutral position" (the position her body was in during shipping). If her body is posed a certain way for too long, the silicone can crease/wrinkle. These creases will go away on their own, but you need to keep her in a neutral position to prevent or correct those creases.
6. She's not as delicate as you think she is. Just make sure she isn't coming into contact with any hard or sharp edges, and most importantly, make sure her hands and feet are positioned well. When moving/repositioning her, always think ahead about how her body will roll/land, especially how her hands and feet will land. Usually the answer is to keep them flat and tucked-in. Also for big repositions, simply remove the head and reattach later -- this will reduce weight and you won't have to worry about damage to eyelashes.

I've had the pleasure of a previous Sino creation [a Z1 160cm b-cup] which is a similar doll to your 161.
My doll is 2 years old this month, and I would not be without her at all.

I can certainly agree with you on some of the benefits of owning a doll(s) after my few years of experience:
I too have kept my weight down, I feel a bit fitter than the previous few years, plus I have more 'motivation' to get up and do plenty of creative things with my dolls that I would never have imagined a few years back

Great review! I’m curious about your thoughts on the soft thigh and ass options. Some people think it’s an improvement, whereas others don’t notice a difference. I’m wondering if the videos Sino has posted about these options are realistic representations. Are they as squeezable as the ones shown in the video?

what a nice relationship you have with your doll! Unless product fails over time, she should last you quite long!

I keep her in sitting position whenever i am not with her, I used a cushion wheeled bar stool to move her around. Her behind is maintained as great as always, and there is no visible crease in her skin.

I am also interested in the soft butt option. Did you get it? how do you feel?
