I normally prefer silicone ladies, but I've had my eye on this little YL148 vampire for over a year. Decided to go for it and she's now on her way.

Folks at SDC were patient with me since I was nagging them to ensure she had the exact same coloration as the marketing photos.

She finally arrived this morning. Canpar guy was happy I was in since he said the box was heavy. No biggie as I have my own handcart.

Box seems to be in good condition and since I asked for it to be shipped to SDC in Toronto first for QA checks before they shipped it to me, the box had all the Chinese labels and paperwork removed first. So the delivery guy had no idea what was in it. Just a blank box.

Neck looks a little bent, not sure if it's supposed to look like that. Didn't seem to be damaged anyway...

Head is well made up and wasn't damaged at all. The fangs are kinda connected to the bottom jaw, which is okay I guess. I'll maybe try touch them up with white acrylic paint so the teeth stand out better...

Usual accouterments. Basic negligee, gloves, squeezer washing bottle, heater, comb, wig. I also ordered a hanging hook and head stand as well.

Box had foam insert in the middle to help reduce movement. Doll certainly hadn't moved much in transport from what I could tell.

I couldn't make up my mind on a name, but when she popped out the box I felt she had a definite 'Victoria' vibe about her. So Vicky the Vampire it is.

Very happy with SDC's help and handling of my order, especially since they dealt with the entire import/customs side of it for me. Can safely say that was the least stressful doll order I've made.

The teeth originally were much the same color as the TPE, so I followed Begog's example and used white water based acrylic paint on them to make them stand out a bit more.

Thanks! I've not had time to take any more pictures yet. A Windows Update trashed my PC last week, so I'll need to restore all my photo related stuff/apps after the reinstall. The only piccy I have is a group slumming one with Vicky in the middle...
