Head 188 with different wigs

I have been meaning to do this for quite a while but just never seemed to get around to it. Well today I did get out head 188 and swapped a few wigs out and took a few pictures.

Sorry but I did not change the makeup to go with each wig. I also used my cell phone to take the pictures. Not the best pictures I know.

I will add more pictures of even more wigs on this head over the next few weeks/months. I will also do this with heads 33, 159 and 162 (will start a separate thread for each head).

These pictures are for reference of different hairstyles and how they look. Hope they are helpful. It is awesome how a different hairstyle can really change how you perceive the face.

Thanks for an awesome idea for a post.

Actually prefer that the model stays the same throughout the series with only the hair changing.

With only the hair changing one can get a truer compairison.

IMHO the photo series are very good. The idea is one which I had been curious about for some time. Really enjoyed your post.

Great job with these photos, by the way! Keeping the same camera angle would be awesome, but takes this from intermediate difficulty to advanced! Love these photos!

We get lots of questions regarding different heads and wigs, of course with the exact same body. It still amazes me how DIFFERENT a doll will look just by changing up the wig and make-up a little! A new woman!!!

With your permission, we'd like to repost these photos in a blog as an example. Let us know if you're OK with that!

I can set up my camera on a tripod and basically keep almost the exact same perspective of the head (the head will swivel on the stand a bit when changing the wig). Good suggestion on that. Gives me a reason to get a light box as well.

Will do that for future photos.
