First of all a big thank you to both Cathy and Jo for all their help. They are top class and went out of their way to answer questions (sometimes at the craziest of hours), update me on status and their professionalism and customer service is second to none. I had my eye on this doll for quite some time and I am pleased to say I am very happy (though due to go going away the day she arrived have had limited time with her). Her TPE is very pleasant and soft but just hard enough in the right places. The breasts feel absolutely amazing and really are very very lifelike comparing to a young woman in her early twenties. She was not especially dirty and importantly, NO SMELL! If you have been on the fence regarding an AS, then do not hesitate.
To the average, love hole placement is not the greatest but is still better than some and looks to be good enough for various positions (not what I bought her for though). Inspecting she is textured inside, quite tight but does seem to stretch nicely. Packing in my own opinion could be better and this is something I would urge AS to look into a little more. There is room either end of the the box for her to move around in, sude to side she is perfect. Other than that, she was packed perfectly and arrived in perfect condition. Was also great to see that she was lay flat in the back of the UPS van (nothing to do with AS I appreciate but thought would note that anyway).
The only real bad perhaps is the lack of shrugging shoulders (though the shoulders do actual lift up on the hinge, so basically the same) and the ole talking point of the gooseneck. The shrugging shoulders while nice and perhaps useful for better photography is not the end of the world though and would never put me off buying a doll. As for the gooseneck, so far it seems sturdy, creak free and I don't really envisage it giving me problems. AS's goose is certainly better and more sturdy than some others.
One surprising feature is that her calf's will touch her thighs. I was not expecting this and is a great feature many other dolls still cannot do. Naturally, caution advised in this position...but she can do it. Overall I am very impressed with the doll in the flesh and AS as a company and would certainly have no hesitation in ordering from them again. Proper glam pics to come soon I have to go back to France again on Sunday unfortunately (some of you know the story) but hope to have them up early next week!
