The crotch area of 4Woods has weak spots in the front and back of the hole which benefit
from reinforcement, especially the older dolls. Embedding additional stretch fabric is a quite well-known method.

Here is also a bit newer thing, using platinum cure silicone for the repair. This allows
accelearated heat cure, selective use of pigments and more precise control over the visual
result of the repair or improvement. More traditional method would be to use a 4Woods
repair kit but it does not heat cure.

I have used Psycho Paint and Ecoflex.

Psycho Paint adheres more reliably to old silicone than Ecoflex but both are strong
enough for repairs in the crotch area. Ecoflex requires roughened surfaces to adhere well enough.

Ecoflex 00-10 is about as soft as the dolls skin (softer) and Psycho Paint is significantly harder.
