Has anyone had any problems with delivery of 4woods dolls? like damage etc.
Also do you have to pay any import taxes which i suggest you do when it arrives.
And lastly does the doll deliver directly to your door or you have to pick it up.?

Hi,
you don't state your location, so taxes depend on where you live.
I had my 4Woods doll delivered to my door in perfect condition. I live in Europe. I had to pay customs clearance charges and local import tax; in my case 17.5 %.

Both of mine were really well packed and arrived perfectly fine. I received a separate box with two heads packed in, and those were excellent as well. Unfortunately there are customs charges to the United States, but I have to say- for me it was worth it.
Let's be honest, if they [4Woods dolls] speak to you then it's worth every penny.
Good luck in your endeavor.

Directly at my door.
That middle picture with that black and white is so cool Stacy! The including of that black and white cat makes it look so perfect.

If you live in an EU country and orders from www.dollstory.eu you don't have to worry about import taxes. 4Woods dolls are shipped in double cardboard boxes like this

It depends on your European countries VAT rate. Germany is 19%.
Now in the UK it's 15% until next year, then it goes back to 17.5%.
Check out your own countries VAT. That's what you have to pay.
Regards.

I opted to go to the freight terminal and pick up my peach doll. The shipping box was in great condition except it was laying there with the "this side up" arrows pointing towards the floor! I am not sure if it was only this way sitting in the terminal or it it rode all the way upside down. I told the forklift driver it was a $6000.00 medical maniquin and if it was damaged I would be back to file a claim.
Lukily she is ok. just a very slight smudging on the colarbones. I was afraid the boobs would be smashed and rouined.

Please clarify "AMAZING". Since you have other dolls, you can compare & contrast. You are talking about the newer 4woods models of course. I have an AI Sisters model which have been discontinued....probably because the boobs are so freeeeeken hard it pokes me in the ribs.
Hey does 4woods upgrade their boob sizes? Your 2nd photo is AWESOME! I like the details on the labia/vagina area...that's on the caliber of LD detailing!
Sorry...back to original question..."AMAZING"... Thanks (also glad to be able to see your photos again)

I arrived home to find my 4woods doll waiting at the door. No customs charges on both of the 4woods dolls. They went through customs in Chicago.

The boobs are very squishy and realistic feeling... the nipples on the NEO feel real!!! If you have your eyes closed you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between silicone nips and the real deal. Lovable Dolls also have very, very soft boobs, they may in fact use a simular technology as 4Woods. I have yet to feel the new RD2 Boobs, but it took my Realdoll body 7 almost 3 years to get boobs that are squishy (although now they feel fantastic!).
hope that helps!

I had a 4Woods. The doll was delivered directly to my apartment when I was at home. I think you better choose a day when you are 100% free at home.
