This is partly why I'm so hesitant to buy used dolls on this forum these days. You never really know what you're looking at - real, or fake? Even the seller might not know for sure.

But it would be nice if someone from Pipedream would officially comment.

IMO so should first hand sellers, If someone makes your dolls for you as a vendor / manufacturer disclose it, if you make your own be proud of it, disclose it.

Hi Guys,

Sorry it took so long for me to jump in, we've had a few days off over the holidays and now we're back in full swing at Pipedream. There's really not much to say here other than the listing you are referring to from Jarliet is a copy of our Bianca. I believe it's an older post and we have contacted both Jarliet and TDF about the copy, it looks like they used our head on a similar-sized body. They were very cooperative and took down the listing immediately.

As most of you know, this is a widespread problem in the doll industry, but it is the main reason we're trying to do things differently with our Ultimate Fantasy Dolls. It's really the Wild Wild West in China and we have to do everything we can to protect our IP, which is why we don't sell the heads separately. All of our Ultimate Fantasy Dolls are our own, exclusive molds manufactured in our exclusive doll factory in Southeast China. They are all assembled in and shipped from our Chatsworth, CA warehouse.
