Yeah, I must agree, there is a bit of a mystery going on with these Pipedream dolls. Not knowing much about them definitely makes me hesitant to purchase one.

I voiced this in another thread as constructive criticism recently and was met with resistance from the vendor/manufacturer saying I was being negative.

These dolls have been out for some time and I only know of one here that for us, unfortunately is owned my a member who can't see which made it pretty impossible for us to see her as well.

It does seem strange that no genuine marketing and promotion has been done for the 'product'.

... and 'Assembled in the USA from around the world' is a joke. Made in China. It is what it is, why the BS ?

There's no mystery about these ladies. I have Kitty viewtopic.php?f=401&t=106709 and she's competently made with good joints well adjusted and good TPE and of a sculptural form that puts realism over weight. But at under 40kgs she's still manageable - although for me at the limit.

She has all the right joints although the neck is a gooseneck. Actually I have no problems with that - I've had a number of gooseneck dolls without cause for complaint at all. It depends on how well they're made and I have no worries about this one. Fingers are good.

She's engaging and every bit of a character

that I expected.

She's of good stature

which makes her chest not disproportionate.

Despite not being my usual style of a doll who can pass off as a mere photomodel this is a lady I'm likely to be keeping rather than letting go of at some future stage.

My only criticism is that she's slightly too heavy up top to stand reliably properly balanced on her feet. That matters for me photographically but for many who's focus is in the bedroom that won't matter at all.

Her private parts are as well placed, better than many, and I don't think will at all disappoint especially at some of the introductory prices I've seen. Grab one whilst you can . . .

No doubt when shrugging shoulders are introduced and double-hinged necks, prices will be higher. Upon the basis of above it's a good idea to get one before the brand gets traction and their prices increase accordingly.

I'm not calling into question the quality of the doll, quite the opposite. I'm just wondering why it's so difficult to find a place to just up and order one. The Pipedream website almost has the dolls hidden amongst a bunch of dildos and lube. Why they aren't pushing these dolls more is baffling to me.

There's no mystery here.

Pipedream is a manufacturer and a wholesale brand. They rely on local wholesalers and retailers to do the active marketing.

You nearly had me thinking you'd found the Pipedream factory there . . . but looking at the Jarliet Made In China site it's clear they sell everything from everyone - or possibly copy anything and everything.

Chinese business is fun.

Without doubt in my opinion one of the best doll faces ever made.

Perhaps Jarilet is the maker of the doll Pipedream is going to sell. Its tough to knock off a doll we cannot even buy yet. Does TDF require the dolls actual origin & true maker? I think they should IMO, that way we know what we are truly getting or at least who the real manufacturer is.

I don't think those pics are of fakes. The doll from Pipedream is not even for sale yet. So who really made the mould & brought the doll to market first for Jarliet to make or have made for them, a exact copy of the face for sure at least, take pictures & sell the doll. Something wrong is going on already & this doll has not officially launched with the supposed doll manufacturer. Transparency is a good thing.

Pipedream has been working on these designs for some time. Looking at the Jarliet site I've seen photos of dolls from all sources. Jarliet are certainly not the manufacturers and back-door copies, use of others' photos and bait and switch tricks abound.

Here is a theory. Typical in Asia, a factory is contracted to run a line but then guess what, maybe they run a few dozen or a few 100 extra with leftover raw materials that the customer never knows about. 1 or more of the workers take these home or sell in the market.

All it takes is 1 finished TPE doll to create the mold in the back door factory to produce thousands more. Intellectual property gone!
