There is a member here developing an app that uses your phone's movement to vary the intensity of the vocalization. It's unrefined, but still quite effective.
Send that to a small Bluetooth speaker (make that, uh....waterproof), place it in her throat, and that would be Awsome!
The phone would just have to be on the mattress to get the movement.
Quite clever, actually.

Yes I would like one of those. Now I make due with my sound app that works with gyro but the lack of touch sensors is a big drawback. Having a doll equipped with touch sensors to make the interactions smarter would be a selling point to me.
Though the same old sounds do get old very fast so I'd suggest designing the system so that additional sound packs could be added and the software updated easily over time.
