These are beautiful, very well-done photos; a demonstration of fine art, and a wonderful dimension to doll ownership. I admire your courage in taking her out for these shots, but we can hope others understand that carnal activities are not always the only thing we want from our compannequins. I may not ever venture outside with my gal, but I am definitely taking inspiration from your photo mastery.

Thank you all for the comments

Today, our next stop was Torpedo Wharf with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. As I was pushing Ananya in the wheelchair toward the wharf, I turned the corner and saw a woman in a wheelchair. Ugh!!! and she was Indian, too!!! Really, WTF what are the odds. Fortunately, she loved Ananya and even took some photos with her. Using a wheelchair for my dolls, my biggest worry is offending someone that is wheelchair bound.

It seems to be reasonable that you use a wheelchair to take her around with you, and this should not be seen as offensive/insensitive. After all, someone who cannot walk requires a wheelchair to move about, just as Ananya is certainly not able to walk, and needs to be transported around in some way. I can imagine that if you were to carry Ananya significant distances (e.g. around a park for a photo shoot), it would need to be by fireman's carry (over shoulder), and that could be perceived as something that resembles kidnapping; this would likely creative negative reaction/feeling in others. However, by taking Ananya around in a wheelchair, it will most probably be perceived, in a person's subconscious mind, as a caring act. I assume the woman you saw was in an electric powered chair, but think about what you might have felt if you saw someone else pushing her in a non-powered chair. Whenever I have seen that, I see such a person in a positive way, that she/he cares enough to propel a family member or friend around in a wheelchair, because this takes a significant amount of effort. Now, think about how we personify our dolls, and that others probably would, also - so, you will probably be seen (subconsciously) as a caring person in much the same way. And, I hope that any possible negative reaction of seeing someone with a compannequin would be countered by the thought that you are probably a photography enthusiast working with what is simply just another type of model; an art form of sorts.

Thanks for the comment, subcyclist. I would actually carry them bridal style. Many of times that I felt my arms would fall off after long distances. Though fireman style is easier, wigs always fall off and I hate seeing my dolls wig-less in public. Agreed, on the perceived kidnapping, too. Even carrying bridal style, I have had people running up to me asking if I needed help carrying her, thinking that she was too drunk or sick. Only to realize she is a doll. So per your argument, a wheelchair would be the best way to move my dolls about. The chair has vastly opened up the opportunities for shoot as I am no longer limited to my strength to carry them.

With your handle name, it reminds me that it has been awhile since I have done a doll shoot with my road bikes. I am assuming that you ride. correct?

the more I look into Ananya´s face the more I love her facial and eyes expression. I very much admire those looks, expressing self confidence, bits of introversion and a generally thoughtful mind. I think Ananya knows exactly what she wants and what not. 8) :glou:

Yes, correct. I ride an SUB - Sport Utility Bike; an MTB configured for road/commuting.

It would certainly be enjoyable to see your gal in a jersey and spandy's standing next to a nice road bike; she looks like a fit triathlete.

I always find it quite amazing how much one can change expression with the slightest change of eye position, or different cam angles. 8) Eyes is key to personality of a doll. Not boobs and butts IMO.

Gorgeous and perfect set, as always Panther! 8) :glou: Envy you on your many nice photo shoot locations and having car for sure. :D Think I´ll dive more into photo compositing very soon, even if it´s not quite the same like the real thing, but we´ll see. :)

This set is amazing. If I would not know... on some photos I would rather think this a photo with a backdrop than assume this a doll that gets photographed.
IT did everything right there. From modelling the head to tasking you with bringing out the best of it.
