Waxy or sexy, Miss Animee?

Hello Friends,

my IT 168c Ayumi Doll arrived this friday!

I was very excited the day she arrives, Fedex sent her directly to my working place, the box was not damaged in any way, Thank you again Fedex!

I received a few pictures from the factory before she left the same, i wondered about the color of the TPE, the noses looked like wax, not the lovely doll color i love so much...

I was afraid of getting a doll that is colorless like the cheap fake dolls, you know when too much light travels through the TPE...

And my Ayumi is also such a doll, just look at the photos...

But the nightmare is still not over, her left arm joint is almost loose, her arm falls down within a second...

The right arm is a bit better, but far away what i knew from my WM Dolls...Other joints are very good, inluding the neck!

I'm very sad, because the workmanship is good, and she is such a beautiful doll...I was looking at all your photos of your Ayumi dolls, and decided this will be my next doll!

I checked an IT 142cm doll a few month ago for a friend, and everything was fine, he is still excited of this doll.

I hope i get a replacement, because i love this doll since the moment i put the head on her body!

I made a quick photoshooting this evening, my Ayumi together with Barbara (WM 163 + #162, tan) so you can see the difference...

This is sad.

But are you sure this effect isn't due to the white wig? Can you repeat your "test" with a black wig?

What skin color did you order? It looks a little lighter than your tanned Barbara.

If you zoom in to look at the feet you'll definitely see translucent looking at the toes and can see the foot plates inside the feet as well

We should see the hands if we can get photos of the hands comparison.
Another way to test how bad it looks is putting a flashlight near the skin or on the skin and compare that with another dolls TPE , you'll definitely see a huge difference then over the entire body.

In IronTechs defense
This has happened to other doll manufacturers before ,Panther68 can attest to that with one of his SY dolls.
We believe it is a supply chain issue in China but it is definitely an issue that is serious as doll looking like a wax figure.
Irontech is working on correcting this and I have a replacement on the way so all will be good now hopefully.
Like I've said before Irontech is a great company and will correct anything that may have occurred as we have witnessed they will go to just about any length to fix things and there are threads to prove that.
I can't think of any other manufacturers that have done as much.

Hi stephan,

Apparently there is a problem with the TPE quality of mass coloration.
As I understand from above dollicious confirm that he has got the same problem with his third AYUMI.
As far as the joints are concerned you know that with time passing all joints become loose at the end. However I Always request thigh joints as all my dolls are standing in my house.I am Learning how to repair (hot welding) TPE without scars left in order to be able when needed to rethigh some joints here and there on all my dolls (26)
These extra costs are too bad for IRT because I appreciate so much their goodwill in search of perfection.

On the other hand looking at your picture she has Indeed the marvellous and perfectly realistic AYUMI silhouette altough she is the result of a new mould (the model I have is from the SM factory original mould).
If you have time and opportunity it would be so kind if you could verify her measurements table and weight.

Icewind good to hear that your issue is being resolved. Northstar, I have enough confidence in Irontech that I am ordering the 163, this evening. I know that Samurai has 3 Irontechs, one the very recent 150 doll and has had no issues, nor has DL with his twin 168 dolls.

Problems happened. We are extreme sorry about this situation. This is a opportunity for us to improve. And we won't hesitate to take this chance to move to another stage for better customer satisfaction.
The light brown skin tone is lighter than the brown skin tone. While some customers do not like it. We have improved the light brown skin tone and keeo you updated.

We suggest tight knee and hip joints for any one getting any TPE doll from us.

I agree with this and will add that wrist joints as well should be snug , this last one I had gotten has semi lose wrists and knees, the wrists seem different in some way as if the hand plates are done differently or are made differently as they were on the original dolls... in any case the hands dont hold a pose as well as the originals from the SM factory.
The knees are okay but do turn too easily left and right , the original design had the turning at the hip which I find to be much better to my liking.
Not sure if this skeleton design has been slightly redesigned or just the original skeleton had better torqued joints.
The shoulders on the one have here now are so tight is hard to move them at all so a bit too tight on the shoulders.
I have been working on getting them loosened a bit by pulling them back and then pulling them forward , the up & down movement is were they are really really tight so carefully trying to get that to loosen up a bit.

I received the pictures of my new Ayumi today and i'm very pleased with the new doll...

Whatever happened to my Miss Waxy, i don't know and i don't worry about it, i only want to give a great thank to Leonard for the fast and uncomplicated solution!

I can't keep both dolls, Miss Waxy will take a seat in our showroom at dollpark, i'm a little bit sad about this solution...

I hope i don't see other customers touching her, i'm a little bit emotional with my dolls, sometimes it's hard for me to see them only as a sex toy...

I hope the takes the fastest plane to germany to be here asap!

Great to hear Icewind. My 163 is also on its way to the States. DL2 will have his within days. So hope to see a lot of photos and hopefully good reviews. Factory shots of my 163 with two heads, Miki, and Jane.

My waxy girl will be living out her doll life in beautiful San Francisco with one of the best doll owners on earth Panther68.
I consider myself and her very fortunate.
I also get attached to my lady's, it's romance that makes life beautiful.
When I see photos of her there in California I will always sense a portion of melancholy and that familiar romantic connection during her stay with me , I will always be smiling warmly.
