Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane heads
Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane heads
The body was protected well with a body bag and properly cut foam that actually protects the neck and feet in case the box is dropped on one of its ends during shipping.
Kudos to Irontech for their packaging!
What a beautiful sculpture!

The TPE feels high quality with a medium firmness. Not too hard or squishy. The seams are blended well and the sculpture details on the body, hands and feet are amazing.

I requested the colored pussy option and sent Irontech pictures of how I wanted it to look. I’d say they came pretty close.

She weighs in at 67.75 lbs (30.73 Kgs)
Her standing height is 56.75 in. (144.1 cm)
Despite her heavier than advertised weight, she is still very manageable for me.
Overall, I'm very impressed by the high quality of this doll. The process of ordering to receiving went very smooth.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another!

Thank you.dollarfan wrote:The best pictures so far of this lovely lady. Also beautiful heads. I'm awaiting my Victoria/Miki doll in beginning of January. Interesting that she is only 144 cm tall. Could the height be dependent on what head is attached to the body?
I read somewhere on the interwebs that the doll is measured laying down from head to toe, but with the feet pointing tip-toe like a ballerina.
If that's the case, then yes, technically this doll can measure 150cm.
Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
Irontech really out did themselves with the 150cm body and all the cute heads for it.
Hands down, IT has made some of the best dolls of 2018!

Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
Consequently no weight reducing devices have been used yet by IRT in this case.I am confident that this will change as I found already not only one as pointed out before but now two brands using hollow chest box in the skeleton of their tall dolls at least.(weight reduction 2 to 5 kgs depending on the box thickness)
Such weight however is still very manageable.
I even personnaly find such doll lightweight as I have a dozen of 38 kgs plus weight life-sized dolls with a height of 165plus cm (including three IRT dolls)
As far as the height is concerned now, this story of ballerina style height measurement is an excuse from a very little few of manufacturers. However the height is best measured when the body is laying down to avoid unatural spine instep.
The problem with doll height is that it is linked to two measurements:
Height of the body without head
Height added by the head.
I have now 26 dolls and 40 heads in total and I am very investigative when buying a new head.
Manufacturers indicate the body height without head with a good accuracy. However the height Added by the head is really a problem as there are no rules. Some small heads (20cm or less from top head to chin)
add sometimes only 11cm while others add up to 15cm depending where the chin level is compared to the nut screw level.
I have two adult size IRT heads JENNIFER (23.5cm from top head to chin) which add 18cm to the body height and VERA (22cm from top head to chin) which add 17cm to the body height. These heads are perfect for tall bodies and I strongly recommend them in such case.
But I have also for example two ASDOLL head bought with my ASDOLL 166 muscular cup B. Monika head (21cm from chin to top head) add only 13cm while REBECCA (22cm from top head to chin) add 17cm. Consequently the ASDOLL height is 162cm or 166cm depending on which head I use.The Truth is that Monika head doesnt fit that large body and was made for a 145cm doll.

A question if you don't mind: Is she flexible? Specifically, can you bend her back/spine back without hurting the doll?
Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
Here's a picture from the Irontech doll manual that shows how the doll can move.Incognito Guy wrote:She looks gorgeous. Nice and pretty detailed body + 2 good choices for heads, as a matter of fact Ada is the head I am currently most driven to when the time comes. My favorite Irontech doll and amongst the Top 5 dolls I have in mind as my first adquisition in the future.

One thing that is missing is the addition of the shrugging shoulders, which is great if you're going to photograph the doll.
Also, If you have a preference on how loose of tight you would like the joints, you can make that request to Irontech before they make the doll.
I actually requested that my doll's ankle and knee joints be tight since she'll be standing a lot.

Didn't know you could request the thightness of the joints for specific parts of the body, that's good to know since I'm also planning on buying an standing version and I know the ankles and specially the knees are parts that may need thighter joints, but I also want the rest of the body to be easily moveable and posseable. I want a doll, not a statue xD
Good to know about the shrugging shoulders. I have seen some producers charge extra for that option. Is it a free selectable option or even better a default free option for Irontech?
Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
I don't think you can bend the back any further than what's on the picture. I tried, and the back stops close to what the pic shows.Incognito Guy wrote:Thanks for the pic bensig, I see you can at least bend her spine back, though I hope I can stretch her a bit more than the pic example.

As far as the shrugging shoulders, I believe they are built in as part of Irontech's new skeleton, so there's no extra charge.

Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
One last question if you don't mind: since you have an Ada head which is the one I am most interested of that brand, could you please tell me how much soft and kisseable would you say her lips are in a range of 1 to 10?
Re: Irontech 150CM Gymnast body review with Ada and Jane hea
The lips feel like the real deal for kissing!Incognito Guy wrote:Thanks again for clearing my doubts bensig. Not the end of the world but kind of a bummer since I am interested in that feature. Still the 150 cm Irontech doll is one of the best bodies I have seen, good proportions for height and hips so I may overlook that, I still haven't decided on who will be the first one.

I ordered my IT 150 cutie in tan.
Maybe this helps you to get a feel for the IT colors.
On the IT section there is a thread showing the different options as well if you have not found it:
