Tybalt you can easily do the second one. What I tend to do is place a pillow under her abdomen this stops her from just squashing you and flopping all over. Although she is 161cm so I'm not sure how that would work with smaller dolls.
Number one all I do is have her arms in front of her out of the way. Then place my hands at her shoulder blades. This gives good thrusting and doesn't allow her to fall backwards on to you.

20kg is a limit of a doll weight for me so this is good news. Would be really nice to get a real-sized doll that light that is not from fabric. Maybe in the future.
It's great to see a manufacturer actually listening to customers. Now if they also manage to make proper finger and toe skeletons too (instead of the wires) and 6YE has all the common requests covered.
