As most of you know, Hurricane Irma affected the Florida peninsula yesterday, and was directly in Don's path. As a customer and friend of Don Delano, I hope this post reaches him in good spirits and he and his dolls are safe and that he knows that me, Elisabeth, Jessica and Melissa are thinking about him.

I will let Don know through the contact info I have of his that this post in the Mon Amour Toujours forum is here and that since he's not just a vendor but a doll lover like us, that we got his six.
I thought I would post this as a goodwill gesture to him.

I know. Me too. I've noticed other vendors, possibly based in Florida, logged in to TDF but not Don (MonAmour). I've tried to call his cell phone (but anyone else should call 1-855-724-0489, the toll free number for MAT) but it goes to voicemail.

Don, please give us a whoop whoop to let us know you're okay!

Here's to hoping that Don and our other friends in Florida are safe this evening.

In 1987 there was a hurricane in south east England. 125mph winds took out telephone lines for a month, blocked roads for days with trees, took the roof off in 10 places and for many people it was more disastrous.

I'm new here, and haven't really had too many opportunities to interact with Don. But what little I have led me to immediately like the guy.

We are all okay and power was restored this afternoon. I had expected to be without power at some point so we were prepared for it. Some damage to the roof of my apartment building but it doesn't effect my apartment. Several other buildings lost their roofs so we were very fortunate it wasn't worse.

I'm glad to have you all as friends and feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community!

I know Don Delano via email. And I am happy that I finally see Don Delano's image. He looks very kind as he has been in email communication. Hope you all the best.
