I understand that SRSD’s is a little behind due to the holidays, but we approved our girl for shipment last Thursday and still haven’t gotten any shipping information yet.
Of course y’all know, this part of the wait is the hardest. She’s built and just waiting to go but just hasn’t gone yet!!!! Arghhhh....the wait is agonizing!!!
Once we get that information, how long does shipping take to the US?
We’d love to have her here for New Years.

Hmm here's what happened with me.

Ordered my stuff on black friday
Thu 12/14/2017, 2:53 PM - Finally got pics
Dec 15, 2017 at 12:56 AM -Told them it looks great, ship it

They did ship the next day after i told them but they completely forgot to give me the tracking number. I asked on tuesday and by the time i got the tracking number it's already in hawaii. Rest is pretty fast. Good luck!

Oh wow!! Good to know. We ordered the week before Black Friday. We may shoot them an email today to see if that’s a possibility. With it being so busy, maybe they forgot to update us with the tracking info.

I thought they ordered parts from China, assembled and customized in the U.S., then shipped from there. But this makes it look like they never actually see your doll.

I confirmed my order Dec. 18, and they told me 12-15 days for manufacturing and 10-15 days for shipping, but probably less because I'm in the U.S.

I always wondered about the US part too but thought the business was based in the US. But everything came from China. I could be wrong but I honestly really don’t know how it all works.

I ordered from SRSD with two different pre-BF sales on 11/17 and 11/18 and asked for them to be grouped so they would have the same custom medium skin tone (2 dolls, 4 heads). Got factory pics on 12/17. Asked for shrugging shoulder proofs plus a change on one. Got new pics on 12/19, and I approved. Got tracking number on 12/21. It is now in Japan and delivery date scheduled for 12/28.
41 day total which I would expect given during the biggest sale of the year plus the new 157/B + 159 head popularity. I see a lot more purchase activity on SRSD compared to last year. I think their business has doubled.

Do you guys do any work on the dolls yourselves? Does it depend on the type? I don't mean to be rude, I'm just confused. Or is the answer a trade secret?

Update!!! We just got our tracking number! She’s expected to arrive on Friday!!!!

I told SRSD all looked good the same day I got my approval pics. The next day I emailed to see if a small change could be made, but it was too late. My doll had already shipped! My doll was at my door in a little over a week! Great doll and great service all around.
