Alright, last set of photos from the hill, before I headed to the San Francisco side.
I met a German couple at this vista point.
Of course, they ask "Why are you taking photos of a doll?"
I answered " I can have the most gorgeous woman here to photograph."
"No one will really notice, but have a doll."
"And now, your the center of attention."
There were dozens of beautiful women, today, but only one beautiful doll.

Ana is one of the luckiest dolls alive. Road Trip looked so fun. Most dolls stay at home watch tv, read, play board games, video games.

She is great to have you!

Morning,

After photos on the north end, I drove over the bridge to get some shots from the San Francisco side.
You can see the hills above the bridge. This was where the previous shots were from.
Next stop was by Torpedo Wharf. Home of what was suppose to be last weeks shoot.
As you can see it was cooling off and the breeze was kicking.
Had an Indian family hold down the blanket for me while I went to get Ana out of the Miata. The expression on their face when I returned with Ana. WTF? Then, of course, they ask if they can photograph her. Only took a few shots, getting too windy and late in the afternoon. Also, wanted to take advantage of having the family help me take Ana's blanket back to the car with me as I carried Ana. If not, her blanket would have blown out to the bay.
Final stop, Fort Point
Ana didn't want to leave the car. Too windy.
So, I just got a few photo of her in the convertible with the fort and bridge in the background
That concludes my road trip. Hope you enjoyed the photos.

Thanks for viewing. I am 187cm. Ana with heels is probably about 175cm.

Beautiful day, today. Not hot, 10C,68F and sunny. Will take Ana out today for photos at a local place that is popular for weddings on weekends, usually quite during the week. Pulgas Water Temple.

Great photos. I guess if people questioned you and you didn't wish to give a full explanation about her purpose you could say that you are a photographer taking some photos for a photography class studying lighting.

Digging up this old thread to add to it. This Christmas day was overcast but clear. So Ana and I hopped into the Miata and headed to San Francisco. Went to the Legion of Honor Museum for some photos with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
Wasn't feelin' it with the silver wig, so changed out to brunette. The Chinese lady agreed. "Wig make your doll look old." "Brown wig much better." Jeesh... tough crowd.

What a great road trip companion: lovely, doesn't talk over the music and helps you qualify for the commuter lane in your two-seater!

Thanks for the comments HSP. Well, two things, if I charged $1 for letting people take photos of Anastasia or if I got a nickel for every commuter lane comment, I would have made more than enough to cover the cost of purchasing Anastasia.

Yes, she makes a perfect traveling companion, especially in a Miata. I am always amused when other drivers are checking her out on the highway, thinking that she is a "Hot Chick" , then noticing after seconds that she is not moving. This is usually followed by a smile or a laugh.

As for comments, most absolutely love her. They are amazed at how realistic she looks and even more so when I let them touch her skin. I kinda feel like I am some ambassador to us doll owners, so I always try to present Anastasia in a dignified way. Sexy, but proper real women's clothing. Even myself, I will always wear dress pants, shoes and button up shirts. Many out there think, us owners are socially inept, living in our parents basement, in our underwear eating Cheetos. I am on a mission to remove that stigma.

The only negatives I get are women making fashion comments. I consider myself pretty good on assembling her wardrobe, but some have opinions. For example, this recent shoot, I changed out her wig. Kinda wasn't feelin' it for her silver wig, then when a Chinese women made the comments saying why do have such beautiful doll wearing gray wig, makes her look old. This confirmed it, so I changed out. The only other time was when Ana was in a elegant dress and a woment made the comment of such a beautiful dress on a beautiful doll, but get better shoes on her. Both cases, they were right.

Yep!! Another trip to the bridge. So time to add on to this thread. Perfect winter day about 60 F and most of all no wind. The onlookers were great. Even one guy on a motorcycle stopped and said that this is the 3rd time he has seen me taking photos of Anastasia. The Pacifica Pier, Rockaway Beach and now here at the GG Bridge. Fun time. Afterwards, Ana and myself drove to Burlingame to meet Carrie and her doctor friend at a nice restaurant. He insisted on Anastasia attending. I did not have my camera, but Carrie took photos of the evening which I will post.
