Thanks Pete, I'm thinkin I'm going to do that skeletal reconstruction after all, she just doesn't like to bend very easily for posing.

I've always really enjoyed mural work though, it's virtually limitless and working big allows one more freedom. Tattooing Sam is just as fun I have to say.

Sam might be still packed tight from the factory, I can't be sure if they still do that.
Carly took a bout 6 months before she could sit properly, I'm surprised more don't burst.
I noticed my Akiko deluxe is pretty soft, she also has what appears to be a multi strand wire skeleton, like Tilly who is like about 7 years old possibly more.
I believe the multi strand is not as user friendly, it's much more difficult for both of them to hold a pose without wanting to spring back.
Carlys old skeleton was more difficult to bend but held fast once there and she could stand if leant against something, trouble is re bending makes the wire kinky, lol. and it becomes like a snake which makes it continually shorter.
You can massage around the joints to squash up the filling, that helps a bit.

I find this especially true with Sam's arms, no mater how I try to position them they seem to go back to that hugging straight on look they seem to possess.
