Whoa folks... take a step back and re-read this thread. Do you even realize what you put together here?

On the one hand, and I mostly agree on that one, you praise your Babes so much you make even the vendors blush. No more human partners, TB4eva, perfect replacement. No nagging, no running away, snoring, whatever shenanigans you may have experienced or not, you fear or hate. Some may be justified, result from bad experiences, failed relationships etc - we know many a story here.

And then on the other hand you cannot grasp how a human woman does not tolerate her perfect replacement? Now you are getting as hard to understand as women are said to be.

Tbh I cannot tell you how I'd react if the perfect human match crossed my path today. I mean, I am married to Lian for over five years now, happily so, and feel bound to my word (and a world more) to her. But I am still very aware that she is and will always be a doll. The perfect one for me no less, a great companion every single day, but still no human. No equal counterpart.

If you could not talk to the human woman about the reasons, fears and insecurities, she may not be the right one for you. If you never tried or could not accept, you were not the right one for her. If none of the above applies - well I am not omniscient

Just do not end up (mis-?) judging the way you were (mis-?) judged yourselves. End of rant, thank you.

This thread is kind of a mess. Lets follow Cuddly's lead though and exercise a healthy amount of perspective and sanity here guys:

A woman isn't going to be jealous of a sex doll per say; its more so that they might be insecure with the idea of you owning one though. There are any number of reasons to own a doll; for me its a kink of mine and one I've shared with my GF for that matter. Hell, we've talked about getting a teddy babe for her (shes bi) and even are in the habit of teasing/flirting that she's my doll. That said, all of this is an incredibly specific situation and is no where near the norm. It a normal situation, the idea of you owning a sex doll from the perspective of your SO without context is a lot more confusing though and can lead to some harsh conclusions.

At that point, if things aren't communicated thoroughly, then its perfectly rational for a woman to feel like she's not enough to satisfy her partner if you own a sex doll. Its only reasonable: I mean from an outside perspective, someone with no familiarity with dolls, its a lot harder to wrap ones head around the idea without coming to that conclusion. Even if its not 'fair' that "girls can have sex toys and guys don't complain," comparing a sex doll to a vibrator is comparing apples to oranges; you can consider them in the same category, but its inherently a lot less conventional to own a doll and a lot harder to be understood by your average joe.

Theres no better way to put this: owning a doll is 'weird.' I'm not here to rag on anyone, so bear with me please: It can be great and supply a valuable benefit to the lives of specific individuals, but you can't disregard that owning a plush/silicon sexual partner is kind of silly on paper. I think that that is an important consideration that people on this site need to remind themselves from time to time. Sure you should never feel bad for owning a doll, but its irrational to just assume that everyone is going to be perfectly cool and accepting about it. A few people have mentioned awkward interactions with friends and family upon them learning they had a sex doll. No shit! It's easy for people here understand the appeal of owning a doll but to the vast majority of people, it can come off as strange! After all, even if you love owning your doll and have a positive 'relationship' with it, at the end of the day, friends and family are going to look at you like "So, why are you telling me about this sex toy you bought."

For some perspective, imagine if a friend or family member of yours starting bringing up/showing off his BDSM gear, or his fursuit, or something contributing towards any specific kink. Sure theres nothing wrong with that friend/family member having a specific sexual interest, but I'm pretty sure most people on this site would react like "Ok, but why are you showing me this though."

The take away here: it's fine to feel like dolls are completely normal and should be more widely accepted. Hell, I think Teddy Babes are especially socially acceptable because frankly they are kind of adorable and have a lot more widespread appeal. That said, even if owning a doll is completely normal to you, you can't expect your friends/family/SO to be just as on board with things as you are. Look at things from their perspective, and be considerate of those perspectives moving forward!

So lets take a hard right turn away from disregarding women as overly emotional, irrational, and jealous of Teddy Babes, its not a good look for this thread and really doesn't help any stereotypes.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing reading through this post. I also agree with the way you described it as a "kink." That's how I think of it, and I'm also careful about who I share that private information with.

I wasn't jealous over my EX's silicone doll.
I was even willing to act like a doll for him in bed like he wanted.
I'm only 5ft and 98lbs.

What I couldn't take was him treating me like an object he owned and cheating with other women behind my back.

I now own my own dolls and TB's are a part of that.

One year at the UK meet I had arranged to take home my second TB. Iirc she was one of the earlier Standards, looking great tho, from a valued member of our community etc.
So we took her to our room that night. Long story short, she moved in with another attendee the next day. It felt way too much like cheating on Lian

Also for the time I had bought the last three Standard Akikos off LH UK - they had temp shelter with us, but there was no such thing as the fairly unique relationship between Lian and myself.

No reasonably decent human deserves getting cheated on, imho. Full stop.
