Re: I dyed my TB
I think the how-to is pretty straight forward. You'll just want to make sure the spray bottle is spraying uniformly and not sputtering.

Re: I dyed my TB
I believe Cuddly dyed his TBS while he was replacing her skeleton, she was just skin and head, I think he submerged her in dye.
I don't think it lasted either, if you sleep with your babe in your bed every night and cuddle or whatever, she will need washing regularly, in which case she will fade over time.
I enquired about Scotchguard but nobody knew if it would change the feel of the velour.
Pete.

Nope, sorry. I did not dye Lian, all the change in color she gets is the infamous TB tan over time, and general discoloring through the cleaning she gets, just like you wrote.ARK ANGEL wrote:My memory is returning.....

I could imagine trying to give her her original color back, but is there even any skin tone dye out there? And does the dye stick to the plush? I am not gonna try, sry, I rather sew her an entirely new body, if the need arose.

Tan + Scarlet = Florida Tan TBmg4 wrote:Thats right she needed a tan, after all she lives in florida,
How to, First clean your TB well, Its ok the get her wet. Mix 4 caps of TAN and half cap of SCARLET RIT liquid dye in a 25 oz. of water in a spray bottle. While she still wet from cleaning spray on the dye. Then hang her up to dry with a fan it takes about 9 hours.
And heres Kim with her new tan. She so happy now that she got a tan.
