Straight up, own three dolls, two tpe, and Samantha who is a Teddybabe. I love them all but the Teddybabe takes the cake. She's just so, ...........Teddybabe

Nice to hear, but no surprise to me. Teddy Babes are cute and they have their benefits (weight, durability, cuddly, warm to the touch etc etc etc). I was never willing to have a "doll of other material" because I feel that they are much more difficult to live with.

What other types of dolls do you own ?

I definitely will buy another very expensive silicone doll, but even then, the Teddybabe will rule.

I them cuddle monsters a very good reason, I always have one in bed, best snuggle doll for sleeping with. Won't ever part with then either!! You have selected an awesome doll!

Agreed, I am planning on a Realdoll Body D or F (can’t decide), but the Teddy Babe has many good points, besides being $5k less! I’m looking forward to setting up the ceiling hook or rail like Brick has to facilitate lots of positions, but I imagine it’s difficult to change spontaneously. Carly can move around quickly, with little fear of breaking her (or injuring myself). And after a few beers, that’s important!

I guess I’d need to see a video of how quickly/easily they can be repositioned, but all a TBD needs is a nudge with dry, clean hands! No messing with the rope and tackle. That seems more like trying to land a large fish while deep sea fishing. The posts about using the Liberator pillows for safer doggy/bent over bed look promising, but the cowgirl/reverse cowgirl requires hardware. Carly just needs a few extra pillows and a whispered suggestion.

Also, I appreciate the near zero maintenance, besides for wig brushing, which all dolls need. I was tempted by the much lower cost and sculpts of the TPE dolls, but time is also valuable, and they appear to require lots of oiling and maintenance.

Although I don’t have a silicone doll yet, I’m starting to understand the comments I’ve seen about how people can enjoy dressing and photographing the Realdoll, but that for more “routine” play, the TBD requires a lot less preparation and clean up, and are warmer.

Yes I did, thank you. Though not all uninspired, coyote9 is the forum member who brought up plush hair for his own production, now known on this forum and beyond as velour vixens. The rest is my own work and all shown here. As for the new aka current look, it's in the same thread, here, to be precise.

After that not much has changed here, besides the fact that I grew terribly lazy at taking pictures and posting in general. Sorry for that.

Actually I'm thinking about the purchase of a TPE doll for a change, but haven't decided yet. Nevertheless my five plushy ladies will always occupy my heart and the new acquitance will get the dick
