@juncharted2 you could make your own dark teddy babe just contact the company that makes the markers you use and see if you can get some bottles of ink then use an air brush on the babe. you could make a brown one or green or blue the choice would be yours.

I have been looking at Teddy babes for quite some time now. Even though I want a Realdoll, I would love to have a girl I can easily carry and cuddle and most certainly a brown shade is most desirable for any doll which is pretty far and few in between to find. Great thread and great minds think alike.

Not really. I have a Lisa TBD and she is functional, but not really my cup of tea. I want one of the more realistic types, although TBDs do have some distinct advantages over others. Realistic enough that I do a doubletake every time I walk in the room not thinking about her. I will probably sell her to offset the cost of a TPE or silicone doll.

I get the whole realism thing. TPE/Silicone gals just blow TB away on that front. Teddy-Babes though, hold 3 distinct advantages for me. #1 weight. I have a WM125. Just under 50 pounds, but for those of us with heath concerns, even that's pushing it. #2 The cuddle factor. I mean who doesn't love squeezing a teddy-bear? Only thing could make it better is if it had boobies and a nice behind! #3 Durability and Longevity. They're just going to well outlast any TPE/Silicone doll out there and require far less maintenance and are nowhere near as fragile. Should they require repair, just open a seam, remedy the problem and stitch 'er back up.

The only thing standing between me and purchasing a Deluxe is, lack of a brown skin option and/or a fuller figure model. By fuller figure I mean wider waist, thighs, calves and arms rather than the skinny waist, stick figure arms and legs currently available. I'd gladly take one or the other, but having booth would be grand.
