The sad part is that the doll height alone doesn't say anything because to save on weight they give em long legs (shins) and a short torso. So a well designed 150cm doll can have a better MTV than a cheating 160cm doll.
I'm also all for manufacturers / vendors adding MTV to the standard measurements.

Case in point. Notice these dolls that are both supposedly 150 cm the difference in the height off the ground of the position of the fold at the bottom of the bum. The Torso of one doll is longer. The other doll has long legs and short torso.

On the left is JY150L, and on the right is SM150L.
I'll repeat one more time. I'm waiting for a doll that is super busty that also has a very long torso.

This should be the reason why the SM breast are looking bigger than the JY once although a little bit smaller 2500/2800ccm.

A YL 155 custom d is 26 inches.
Same as a YL 170 and WM 170.

I'm thinking that "Sitting Shouldertop Height" (SSH), could be more consistent and reliable because it removes the variable of the length of the neck, and the size and tilt of the head, etc.

I think I will undertake to get that measurement on a sample of actual women, (unusually attractive ones that is), versus height, just to see what normal is.

SSH (Shouldertop Sitting Height)

I have measured my first subject. A very beautiful stage dancer. 5 feet 5.5 inches [166.4 cm], with SSH of 23.5 inches [60 cm]. Ratio [SSH/Height] of 0.36.

I believe compared to some MTV measurements done on doll's this would represent a torso much longer on this real girl than on any of the measured dolls.

On the RLSD 174cm I’m getting an MTV distance of 27.5 inches and on the wm 172 cm I’m getting about 26.5 inches. I agree that all manufactures should include this distance. I requested this distance for the new wm 173cm doll and they showed a picture of the measurement and it appeared to be 74cm so I think that’s my next doll I just think the boobs are too big and I may wait for a D-G cup range to come out
