Do Piper dolls have the regular TPE maintenance requirements? Is there a TPE blend that isn't so maintenance heavy?

There are two trains of thoughts on TPE care.
One is Vaseline and oil and powdering
The other is just powdering
Some people like Mandos have done quite well with just the powdering.
Others have not.
Other has had luck with V&0 protocol.
You have a decision, but one thing for sure...
Too much of a good thing is not a good!
Too much powder is NOT good
Too much oil is NOT good either

Topic is fine in this location IAW for sales vendor exemptions and vendor/ management agreement.

As Jeff has said, he will upload images on receipt, and vendors can sell and resell in their own subforum topics. That is what they are for.

Regarding powdering vs oiling.

Both have uses in moderation and as required.

If the tpe is tacky and sticky, powder the area lightly, if the tpe is dry then wash of all residue, dry dolly and oil lightly.

Simples.

I can tell you from experience that forgetting to oil a dolly in a hot dry summer because you are away results in hours of heat gun repairs.

I discussed this in another topic, and anyone telling you that powder seals the tpe doll so you do not have to oil is either on crack, or has not owned a TPE doll with climate extremes for any long period of time.
