Ouch. I just purchased a JY type from MSLD. They said the sister company AIFEI is making mine. I am very concerned now, really hope mine doesn't have any issues. And hopefully, if it does MSLD will take care of it.

Unfortunately this sort of tching happens when the vendor uses unauthorized reps or you go through an unauthorized rep. You need to investigate who you're buying from.

As I know JYdoll has been separated from AFdoll since Oct 2016, now JYdoll and AFdoll has no relationship .

Harumi is not a JY Doll... but i not spoken about the brand name because i know they are not in DollForum.
It's one of the Doll Forum member that start speaking about this doll, not us, we are not promoting it on the forum.
Just we reply to him that YES it's a good first doll and a best seller on our website.
I not mentionned the brand.

That was their reply about a doll I would BET MY LIFE ON WAS A JY DOLL and I questioned them!

Even though the same products the prices can be different.

For example a 150cm (muscle + boobs) is
$1880 marked down to $1350 at jy-doll
$1569.99 at jydoll

Yet the same doll with a different clothing set (jean shorts, white top) is
while same price at jy-doll,
it's $1669 marked down to $999 at jydoll
unless of course that "textured skin" is where the $100 difference comes in?

I do like that $999, but wonder if it's because they skimp on quality some place.

I mean, even the Certificate of Conformity at jydoll, first one of two, in the box section, 2nd line. "Falmmability".
What are the odds a legit certificate is going to have Flammability spelled wrong?
