Buyers read this: the new SAN HUI Skeleton

Post by Booty Call Dolls »

Can someone tell me why a vendor can order a TPE doll and if something goes wrong quickly, they can get a new doll, but my friend get a SAN HUI doll and both knees go bad within one month on their new ball joint skeleton and THEY WILL NOT EVEN REPLY TO HIS POST?
They say by email his vendor needs to fix it.
So I guess I flew down to CHINA and put the doll together, right?
WOW!
Isn't that great of them.
WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY GIVE!
let's be REAL
Most dolls will be fine.
No doll is PERFECT
But a MFR can be almost perfect when these RARE conditions happen and take care of people, right?
*******San Hui you have permission to reply back to this thread***********

Let me reiterate that I have had two issues with TPE dolls and both times the MFR sent a new doll!

Not once did my BCD Fmer have to email the manufacturer like FAB did to San hui and my TPE MFR would NEVER point the finger at the vendor....
WHY SHOULD THEY?

Sanhui customer service strikes again!
I speak from experience as I had to deal with them in this capacity 2 years ago. Would have thought they would've gotten better at that by now.

They make a nice doll but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, especially if there is a problem.

You just gotta keep on em.
Good luck to you......

I agree....
They make excellent dolls, but when things go wrong and then can some times, that is when you see TRUE COLORS!

That's very unfortunate. They should know better than that.

I was afraid of that. I got chided for mentioning my fears about SH's new skeleton on the SH forum. People get so touchy about their purchase decisions. But people need to know what's good and bad about dolls and their manufacturers.

I dunno. SH was originally my first choice for a doll. But in the end I'm glad I got steered away from them. Some people are lucky and will get a doll without any problems. I'm never that lucky.

MannyCan,
All dolls have issues but HOW those issues are handled is what counts.
If I send an email to Doll Sweet, they get back to me fast.
When a person wanted standing feet and they were out of bolts and did not make her with standing feet, we sent the person a free doll stand.
If that post was under their section, they would not IGNORE IT or tell the person the vendor is responsible for a loose knees.
San Hui might have their policy, but it does not mean it is fair. The person they helped ordered the doll through them, no vendor.

Manufacturers must live & die by their customer service. I have no interest in a company that doesn't stand behind their product - thanks for the heads up.

This is only my opinion, but it seems to me that if you get a doll from them, they $eem to care alot more.
I understand policy
Unless I went to the factory and messed up her knees, should it really matter if the doll was ordered from them or a vendor?
But I do understand that if someone ordered a doll from from a vendor who got the doll sent to them then sent it off like George use to do then their policy makes sense.
Again, they make great dolls.
I just wish that they would make some small changes in how they run things.
And there are issues with joints in TPE dolls for sure.
I am now suggesting tight knee joints and hip joints.
Why?
I had a JY 148 knee go loose very fast.
I had a YL170 come to me with a loose hip joint as well as a 6YE.
And a WM with a loose knee.
Honestly, I feel a bad hip is worse if some one plans to stand their dolls to store them or if they want the dolls legs up in the air if she is on her back.
Each case is not the same.
Best,
Jeff

There does seem to be a bias against vendors for some manufacturers. I see the vendor as an agent for the consumer. As such they should be treated with the same respect and responsiveness. A good vendor can be a great asset to BOTH parties: the manufacturer AND the consumer.

Manufacturers that don't want to deal with vendors have short sighted policies.
That said .. I won't buy a doll without first consulting BCD. That's MY policy.

Right now we are seeing about getting his doll sent for them to fix.
The question is who will pay shipping.
They can get a far better rate than I can to ship dolls even if I pay the freight.
