The headstand came with the plug connected to the base by a small loop of plastic, so once that was cut I had the two part that just slotted together.
They use that mesh cage (I think it's automatically generated by their software) to keep multiple part orders together. Apparently it saves them time in the sorting process.
It's odd though, my three parts just came in separate sealed poly bags, no cage.
They must do things a little differently in the Belgium shop. :)

It's small but mighty! Let me know how it works for you.
Here's a quick video demo I made with yours before I sent it...

The foot screw covers and eyelids are going to be welcome additions to any doll owners. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the quick stand.

Thanks Samuel :)

The QuickStand is mainly for those that have more than one head for a doll and need a stand for quick changes, so it won't be a must have for everyone.

Hey MF,

Today I received the two sets of EME's that I ordered at the beginning of the month. I will post some photos in the future. I'm not complaining, but boy the price sure does add up when ordering from Canada. Ended up costing $208 CAD in total.

Myself and a lady friend of mine, that lives in my apartment building, were very impressed by the packaging of the kits. Very well done sir! My only suggestion would be to include the iris # beside them using a sticker. It didn't take me long to figure it out, just went and looked at the photos at The Doll Album. Regardless of that, like I said, I'm already impressed by them and look forward to having the installed.

Cheers,
Jimmy

Jimmy thanks for the compliments! I'm very glad you like them! :D

Yes, the currency conversion to CAD is a bit rough for you guys right now. Not much I can do unfortunately.
The total was only $128 USD though ($170 CAD) :?
So $38 taxes and import fees?

No reason for you to apologize, MF :D . I just miss the couple years we had awhile back when our dollar was near par.

Was $128 USD = $175 CAD + $33 CAD in taxes and fees.

Thanks again for making these. :glou:

Alrighty folks, my i.materialise shop is finally open! :D
Just have the three products for now - foot screw covers, Easy Move Eyelids™ and the new QuickStand™.
These are items I get lots of requests for but don't always have time to make since my main focus is on eye sets.
I'll also be adding the hand skeleton to the shop when its ready.

https://i.materialise.com/en/shop/designer/mf-creations
imaterialise shop.jpg
All items are printed in the SLS nylon polyamide material which is tough and durable, and the basic white can be easily dyed to any color you want using Rit Dyemore. The Quickstand™ is also available in several factory dyed colors. I'll be making a video showing how to dye the screw covers and eyelids.
It's easy and fun, just like coloring Easter eggs! :)

Of the three online 3d print services I've researched, i.materialise seems to have the best overall quality & lead times. However...

ETA 8/28: There are presently two caveats with this service...

1) There is a $35 minimum order so you'll probably want to get a couple of items to get the best value.

2) At the present time all shop orders ship from EU only, so shipping is expensive to U.S. ($15.50) :(
Just found this out yesterday. Even though they have a U.S. production facility in Wisconsin, this is their current policy.
That said, this will probably only be a viable option for those in EU.

Here are some high res photos of each product so you can see the texture and finish of the nylon prints.
I was fairly impressed with the quality as there are virtually no discernible layer lines in these prints...
Will US customers still be able to get the screw covers from you directly because of everything coming from EU as you stated.

For anyone in the U.S. that wants the new nylon items just email bcdspecialorder@gmail.com
I can send you a link to purchase instead of going through the shop. That way you will get the U.S. shipping options. However, until they change their policies there is still the $35 minimum. You don't have to buy more than one thing but to get your money's worth you'll probably want to.

The minimum cost will be $35 + $7 link fee ($3.50/item) + $5.99 shipping = $47.99

So if you purchase more than one item the screw caps will be about the same cost/cap as the ones that come from me.
For eyelids, this would actually offer a savings of $2/pair over the ones from me as long as you purchase two or more items. So for those with many dolls or just want to stock up, this may be a better value.

With eye set orders I can still make them, but I would recommend going with the nylon ones for more durability.

Just wanted to post a quick update. Gave Alyssa some fresh makeup today, I used Revlon Colorstay # 715 for her eye shadow. Will be ordering lower eyelashes by the end of the day. These are iris #42.

Hey thanks Jimmy for the lovely photo!
Great job on the makeup - looks very natural!

OK, got lots of orders today already before I had chance to post, so only have 3 EME sets left for this month.
Thanks again everyone for your support!

I've received the EME set and the 2 extra eye sets I ordered. They look lovely and are very much an improvement over the standard eyes.
Here's some quick photos to show how they look on Kanna.

The first picture has MF03A and MF16.
Second picture has MF41 and MF05.
Third picture has MF17 and MF14.

Just got my new set of eyes and eyelids along with 4 sets of colors for me to choose from. I've had one of his older versions but I thought it was a good time to upgrade! I'm sure I'll post lots more photos on my thread but here a couple of the new sets. Great work on this design as they look so natural!

Hey Kanna and JC, thanks very much for the nice photos!
Sorry for the slow replies lately - been a bit swamped.

JC I'm curious, are those the new eyelids in your photos or the old ones?
