Here's some DSLR photos, finally got a hang of it. I typically had exaggerated fear for impending digital interface nightmare, but it took only 2 hours (haha!) to learn the basic operation and transferring the pics to computer.
It's my late brothers Nikon D70S with 18-70 and 70-300 zooms, mediocre but ok optics. Stabilization would be nice for more tripod-free journal type pics.

This set is really quite spectacular. I like the last one especially in the blue. Man she is one tight little package for sure.

Ginevra's back story

She came here a year ago. Gin is of course a doll, but since half of this is true, so why not the rest?

There was a girl in South America. Her grandparents who immigrated from northern Italy disappeared in the seventies junta dictatorship years and her teen mother had let her adopted. Despite all that Ginevra got fine upbringing and developed proper life, working as international company call receptionist, amateur boxing coach and singing karaoke.

Last year she started investigating her grandparents fate with the help from her hacker nerd friends. She stumbled into some dangerous information... and the state intelligence caught the hacking. Pretty soon she got a visit from the Policia Securita. They threatened Ginevra.
"Really bad, bad people, black leather jackets, snooty demeanor. Brylcreem assholes!"
She got scared. "I was deeply disappointed - felt my life was going nowhere. After all these times I'm being threatened and could go missing like my family."

So Ginevra developed a plan in her 48cm head: the TDF, doll trade, and a new life in Europe!

Same time on the other side of the globe, I (Wight) was busy browsing doll manufacturer and vendor sites day and night with acute doll fever. One certain doll was chosen, vendor account was logged, and I started defining the doll specifications.
The website then turner kinda weird, the doll description began to add unusual details, realistic pictures, and also "conversation" with the doll in case. Thought that it was a vendor site selling trick but was amused and let it go on.
I had no idea that it was Ginevra herself assisted by her hacker friend.
The purchase was done and waiting period started. Confirmation, tracking number all that. After three weeks the doll was in the eurocustoms hub in Hungary.

I got a call from the cargo truck driver at the EU delivery center, he told me here is a person to confirm delivery details. A woman. Nice slightly cracked voice, excellent english. She told that the pictures I had seen was her, and she had been doing the earlier conversation. She would be coming in with the delivery, that ok?

Ginevra had it all thought up; the truck driver would get the original doll after the transport was completed. She was coming here with the cargo truck, and if things somehow didn't go well at my place, she could be sold to another TDF member home, as Ginevra had read that the members are fine folks.

I asked the truck driver to shoot some footage of her at the loading ground. Questioned the driver: Age? About 25. Does she look healthy? Sure, she looks like a doll. Height, body? 145 sporty a-cup.
I watched the footage and that really made it. Get her here!

Ginevra tells: "The last three days from Denmark to Finland on a Baltic Sea cargo ship was the worst. I was hiding in the truck cabin at the cargo hold deck, and sea was tumbling. The driver, a gentle big man as many of the big men are, brought me Fanta and ice cream to keep me hydrated. He was very courteous all the trip, since he was to get the doll after the transport operation was done.
Finally we got to the destination port, and I could shower and change clothes at the cargo company facilities.
Then it was delivery time and meeting Wight."

....

Door buzzer sounded at my apartment building. And there they were on the stairway level, a delivery guy, a big cardboard box, and a girl. Even in the low hallway light I could see her radiating beauty. She could have run out downstairs, but didn't make a move, just staring at me unflinching.
An intense moment.

The driver guy said sign this sir, I did, and then turned to her:
"Lady, you are welcome. Will you come in please?"
-"Yes."
I waved the driver to take the box back with him. The girl walked in. And then there came the big hug.
