I'd like to bring this thread to a close (and give the whole thing closure). Allie is no more, she's gone to the great doll house in the sky. This was a fun project for me, but I've always had many competing interests in my life, and I've moved on to other things for now. Maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't. I can't say for sure.

I am convinced with some tweaks you can get a doll with audio to respond "general kenobi", as anyone sensible would expect a doll to.
