Hello everyone,

Here is some information on how we prepare and securely pack our dolls for shipment.

1. Your doll is inspected for any damage and we will send you pictures and videos before we pack her.
2. We wrap each individual limb and the torso with soft non abrasive foam sheets and secure it with tape.
3. We then wrap the doll in a soft fleece microfiber blanket.
4. Your doll is then placed in a reinforced water resistant box lined with thick high density shock absorbing foam on all sides. We strategically place fitted foam blocks in areas such as the neck,lower back, and under the knees to spread out the weight of the doll.
5. The doll's head is completely wrapped in soft non abrasive foam sheets then reinforced with high density foam on all sides and placed between the legs.
6. Finally we fill in every hollow space with foam blocks and seal the box.
7. Your doll is transferred to our shipping facility and you will receive a tracking number.

When SANHUI US receives shipments we inspect every doll for damage. If the doll was damaged during shipping it will not be put into inventory.
We periodically perform quality control checks such as testing the joints and checking for compression marks from storage. Before your doll ships out to you we inspect the doll again.

My Sanhui was very well packed. I have a 40 gal trash bag full of packing material.

They do pack pretty well.
I only had a slight issue with the neck on mine but they have since improved the packing.
I kept all the packing in a trash bag too.

I'm sorry this happened to Licia. We now place an excessive amount of "this end up" stickers on the box and ask FedEx not to invert the boxes but FedEx does what FedEx wants.

The neck and shoulder area are now tightly packed with copious amounts of foam to prevent the neck from being bent when the package is inverted. If shipping damage does occur we will make it right.

I also want to shed some light on how the neck screws work. The neck screw is like a ball and socket joint and has a wide range of movement. There is a small gap in the silicone around neck screw to allow movement without causing silicone deformation. In the past when the packages were inverted during shipping it put pressure on the neck screw moving it down so the screw appeared "bent". Since the neck silicone cushions the screw, the screw generally cannot move past it's intended range of motion and does not truly become bent. In most cases you can simply use a small tool to move the neck screw into it's original position.

Kimi and I always listen to yalls feedback and we bring your suggestions to our engineers to see if it can be done. We were exploring the possibility of changing the neck design to having an internal thread but we were told that in the past our engineers tested a prototype with that design and found it was inferior to the current neck design.
