OH Shit! HELP

Was doing photo shoot and was gonna have Eve play mini drums for one of this month's photo contests, and my clumsy ass snapped her left wrist trying to position her hand to hold a stick. Her hand is completely separate from her wrist.

I wasn't forcing anything either, it just happened. It was actually moving smooth, then just broke. What can I do???? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So sorry to hear. That sucks. Start researching in the repair thread. Contact George he may be of assistance ?
I would first recommend stabilizing the break to prevent any further damage .

You will have to cut her along the seams with a very fresh exacto rub a little soap on the blade for the initail cut.
You will need to send as best you pics of the damage.
See how their customer support is. B ut seriously send pics captured with flash. I am sute they will send you parts. Take it one step at a time . If you need anything at all i offer you my encouragement.

I have never worked on a sanhui sjeleton so i do not know what they are like

Thank you for that bit of info. In the meantime, I wrapped it with ace bandage and put q tips in wrap for re enforcement so silicone doesn't rip at wrist.

Iv heard sanhui use 'friction' joints that can pop out like this. Sorta like a cork in a wine bottle.

Can you feel inside for a 'nub' that feels like it might seat back into a hole in the forarm bone?

Maybe just pushing them back together would fix it, Although likely you'd end up having to cut her open and glue it.

Warning: I am not very sure about the internals of this doll, If it does not feel like I stated, or you can feel separate floating bits inside, then don't try this.

While the damage is unfortunate and hopefully repairable, I don't think this was caused by anything you did. There may be a flaw in the design of this model and hope the factory will provide necessary support to get her back to her drum kit. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Silicone is repaired easily. If you take a sharp knife and cut down the parting line, it will go back together near invisibly. Give her some anaesthetic, make that cut and look inside . . .

Good observation samara78. I do care and hate to see her go around with a limp wrist I gave her. I contacted kimi at sanhui, he saw photos, waiting to hear back on a repair solution....

As a Class 'C' First Aid Responder, I have to say you did a very good job tending to her on injuries, she is quite lucky to have you in her life. I hope sanhui proves to be an invaluable resource in her speedy recovery. Good luck.

Still waiting to hear back from kimi though he told me that it may take him a little time to get back to me....
hope it's not too complicated to fix.....
