thanks folks.

got more time with Ember tonight.. here's another outfit i got weeks back at the second hand shop... and just now was able to give it a try. the skirt was real tight so had to cut some slits to loosen it up. the sports top was cute. i cut a slit up the back and tied a knot to help it fit better.

you also notice Ember has sustained a sports injury. her wrist bone snapped and it's all loosey goosey. this wrist brace i got fits perfectly. this should keep her safe until I'm up to playing silicone surgeon!

Great pictures ErrorNull. Ember is really pretty and I'm pleased to see that she keeps her clothes on. Obviously a girl of honour and moral standards.
Love that little white skirt and the way she does her hair too.

Yesterday was the first time she had shoes and so first time standing on her own. I had her posing on her feet and working with other poses for about an hour or so. No visible problems with her ankles during that time. I later took off her shoes and socks to inspect any damage. Ankles fine. The bottom of her heels did get slightly compressed and so I left the shoes off last night. I'm thinking the silicone should recover back into place... haven't checked her since I wokeup today tho.

Without the shoes, standing her up straight can be done but i'd be careful to ensure the silicone at the bottom of her feet is flush with the floor and not at an angle. otherwise the silicone being all soft will tend to squish out from underneath. Don't even try having her stand with legs spread apart w/out shoes. Our ankle bone can tilt to an angle to allow our feet to meet the ground flush, but the SH165 ankle seemingly cannot. BUT.. with shoes on i've done the standing with legs spread okay. But I'd still not have her in that position too long. Maybe couple minutes at a time?

Took a couple pics of her standing with legs apart a bit. Didn't really like how it all turned out so deleted them.. but kept this one. Didn't plan to post.. and doesn't show off her shoes.. but ah well.
