You did good, the problem is that sometimes people stops reading after the first few lines of the first post of a thread and skip directly to comment...

Really looking forward to the new Ashley pics.

Hi Samurai.
I am with Rick on this and I am also happy you did post the pictures - there is a need for people to be open and informative - and if others make bad of what you provided as a good effort it is certainly their fault, not yours.
Something that most probably overlooked so far is that this is a bit of a safeguard - if probably unintentional - as well = a joint that you rotate that does not lock up will also not break from the rotation.
And nobody is hindering you from rotating it just a little back so it looks ok again.
And maybe you will find that actually being able to do this - namely rotate a little into an unnatural pose, then back up into natural look will help you accomplish a pose you would otherwise not be able to do?

This is a great doll - I for one do not see any need for locks - if they decide to do them fine, if not, fine as well, at least as long as the bolts keep their tension to hold positions.

Just my take on it.

Kind regards.

my sanhui165 should arrive after next week and i look at the double-jointedness as a benefit. as long as the skeleton is sturdy and doesn't damage the silicone, i wouldn't mind all the joints having as full range as possible.

btw samurai - love her jeans. was it difficult getting her into them? those must be the stretchy jeans?

Hi ErrorNull, your gona love her, its hard not to. Yes jeand are stretch, but also to big, as she is so thin and has long legs its difficult to get exact fit, so in order to get the leg lenth they are a bit big on the waist but nothing a good belt can't fix. Size 6 (uk) i belive a size 2 in the USA Though a size 0 would do as well. Also tights (pantyhose) are a must, make jeas and pants/trousers leggings etc easier to get on.

Hey Samurai, I've been meaning to thank you for those pics you posted. I pretty much ordered my Sanhui after reading your review and I love her!
I fully understood the joint thing wouldn't happen by accident and it's been no issue for me at all. It's good to share all the details. :)

ErrorNull, congratulations! Enjoy opening her! I wonder if you'll get the top or the bottom when you do! :D

I got mine some skinny jeans in size 0. They are easier to take off than put on by far. I would put on some extra corn starch in any exposed areas to avoid dragging or staining. Don't forget to wash the jeans first. Also I highly recommend stalkings made from core-spun silk. They seem to be more durable than the cheap ones and they slide across other fabrics like a boss.

Time for the pen, paper, sorting and creating numerous directories as you whittle down to your favorites. I'm confident that takes almost as much time as taking the photos.
笑. It's good for you.

Wow excellent! That is a major improvement. :glou:

Another big improvement would be movable eyes. Right now people are removing the stock eyes, cutting out the silicone and putting circular eyes in the 165. Sanhui should use round and not flat eyes so customers don't have to damage the silicone.
