Got this notification today: Clearance issues resolved. Shipment released for delivery.
Was briefly held up in Chinese customs. My stomach can stop churning now. Scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. Video and pics to come.

Well, delivery went from next Wednesday to Friday and now there is another shipment exception as things have come to a grinding halt in Japan. Now it says Scheduled Delivery Date pending, delayed beyond our control. That means it's out of Fedex's hands. This exception is taking way longer than the first one in China. Starting to worry a little. Notification came at 1:00 am last night. I thought they flew straight to Anchorage out of China. Stomach churning, again.

I wouldn't worry too much. I doubt she gets delayed more than a day.
Mine had a crazy trip. She landed in Japan, in the same city that had an earthquake an hour later. She spent the day there in earthquake chaos and then flew BACK to China lol. Then on to Alaska I think.
My first one went from Japan to Hawaii then to California. She arrived a day early!
