Curious about the neck connections

Can someone clarify the new neck system and hanging hook? I far as I can gather, the hook is threaded while the heads have a non threaded bolt that just slides in similar to the DS system. Is there another adapter or does the head slide into the same threaded hole? Is it still an m16 and could you possibly swap heads with an older crew on type?
Pictures or video would be awesome.

Sure. There are a few threads in the neck hole for the hanging bold to screw in, but the head bolt is smooth.

Looks like it. Sorry I don't have a very accurate way to measure it. The tape needs to go a bit more to the left and that looks like it'd be at 16mm.

[EDIT] I just ordered a caliper. The smooth neck bolt must be smaller than the hanging threaded bolt. I'll report the measurements soon.

Just to make sure - this thread is in the Sanhui Forum - is that where the question was meant to be ?
To my current knowledge Sanhui uses M10, and the neck is using an upward facing bolt.
If this is a new type of connection, detailed measurements would be helpful.

My custom Elfie has this system
Head is popup attachement and it's shipped with hook.

@zaxdoll: Thanks for that info.
I would now be interested to know if that is currently used for the whole doll range or just particular models, so maybe some other owners having this system can give some feedback.
My knowledge about M10 is therefore seemingly outdated for at least some dolls.

Caliper received and I made some measurements:
Smooth neck bolt: 13mm
Hanging bolt outer: 13mm, inner thread 11.5
I can measure thread pitch if anyone needs it.

Ok, so I don't understand how the neck and hanging bolt both measure 13mm but I've measured them both 3 times... Maybe the outer on the hanging bolt is slightly over 13mm but that is not much teeth for the available gripping depth. Looks like a slight engineering error that just happens to be working imo.
