I cannot believe how manufacturers cannot fix that thing ...come on ... just a stronger welding would do. Not like it would raise the cost of the doll by few hundreds!!!Liz_xxx wrote:Same story here :
2016 Sanhui 145, all finger wires perfect , one or two minor pokes easily repaired.
2017 Piperdoll, seven of the eight finger wires came away from the palm plate within weeks, both thumbs still good.
How strong are the sanhui fingers?

Re: How strong are the sanhui fingers?
Different story here, all fingers except the thumb of the left hand wires came away from the palm plate .
All fingers with pokes of which 1 finger with serious damage.
Because I was tired of this damage my doll wears constantly wound dressing, and this helps serious against further damage.
Not nice to see but rather this than further damage.
What I have noticed in a positive way is that the detached finger wire helps against further damage.
Maybe my next order will be a doll without finger wire.

you can't properly weld copper wire to a plate made of steel!Babel99 wrote: I cannot believe how manufacturers cannot fix that thing ...come on ... just a stronger welding would do. Not like it would raise the cost of the doll by few hundreds!!!
they need to replace that wire with something more durable...
does not mean that it needs to be thicker just another material!
and a plastic cap on the end of the wire would also help a little to prevent pokes!
but we will not see that ever on most TPE dolls.... they are saving as much as possible... the earlier it brakes the earlier the costumer is going to buy a new one...thats it... like everything today...

Re: How strong are the sanhui fingers?
problem with the fingers I have had is finger pokes.
The wires are still attached to the palm plate with no signs of coming out. The wires are much better quality than TPE finger wires.
Finger pokes are no biggie and can easily be remedied.

Re: How strong are the sanhui fingers?
I have got 4 x JinSan dolls all are manufactured 2016/17, ones got really bad hand problems, the rest are fine but I take extra care with hands. I bought a new 165 Sanhui doll the a few months and her hand are far superior, although she has got a slightly loose leg, I was aware of this when I bought her and had a massive discount. The leg isn't a problem she will stand for photography.
