You really knocked it out of the park on Rose! I know Zelda will be a master piece as well.

Next I’ve started work on Zelda, unfortunately my former helper Kritter totally messed up the skins for Zelda’s arms and torso, so I will need more fabric to redo.
While I’m waiting on fabric I’ll start working on her legs and arm armatures.
Here is a pic of her spine.

And the torso I’ll be redoing :(

Not to sound mean or racist or whatever. I'm surprise you don't hire immigrants instead, they work a lot faster, and compared to a normal worker, 1 immigrant could probably do the work of 2-3 workers..Not talking about the mexican kind either, talking about the ones flowing from their borders of their broken countries..

Learn a little spanish since spanish is prety common along those countries. They are more dependable and work quick. Lot of their women are good at sewing too. They are not too shameful to sex compared to conservatives in the US, which would be very difficult to find.

Sad to see you struggle.

I know immigration is a sensitive topic, but if Coyote9 is caught hiring them, he can go to jail and face some hefty fines. Facts are facts and I'd like to see C9 free and not in a jail cell.

Even though an issue has arisen with Zelda, I am SO FREAKING EXCITED she is going to be finished before summer.

I have done all of my hiring thru Indeed.com and word of mouth.
I don’t have access to immigrants unless they contact me.
When I lived in California I would see guys waiting at the hardware and lumber store, in the mornings, trying to get pick up work, but I’ve never seen people waiting at fabric and craft stores for pick up work.
I’ve always contacted everyone who has sent me applications online, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or anything else.
I have never had any Hispanic women, (which I got many apps from) follow thru and show up for an interview.
I believe the sex doll thing was a nonstarter for them.

This week I started going over my PVC stockpile, figuring out what I need for Zelda, and shopping for parts.
Sorry no pics.
I hope to have the armatures finished next week.

Thanks for the update! I am curious what her dimensions are: I am shopping for her. Gotta have cute lingerie and dresses for her to wear when she arrives! Possibly shoes... and TON of stockings, thigh highs, body stockings, crotchless pantyhose and sexy garter belts to match.

Thanks rubherkitty!

Blacksmith, I can get you waist and chest measurements, once the torso is finished, but hip size will have to wait till I attach the legs.

For Zelda, I worked on her armatures this week.
The arm bones still need to be attached with wire at the elbows.

The distal ends of the raduis’ And ulnas’ have had pieces of doll armatures inserted, that will be part of the palm extending thru the first and third finger.
These are then cross drilled, tapped, and secured with a machine screw to secure in place.

For smaller dolls I use 3/4” and 7/8” steel washers, that are 1/8” thick, for 3/4 and 7/8 dolls shoulder joints.
But l can’t get a larger 1” washer, so I have to mill my own out of 1/4” PVC sheet.
These are rough cut with a 3” hole saw, stacked on a threaded shaft, and chucked in my drill press, where I will file and sand four blanks till they are all smooth and the same size on the outside edge, about 2 3/4” dia.
These are then taken off the threaded shaft, and reinstalled two at a time, allowing me to bevel the edges, while turning.
This will be done twice to bevel both edges of each pair.
Finally the center holes are enlarged using a rotary rasp and rotary file bits.

The proximal ends of the humerus’ are capped with PVC tees, machined to fit around the screw caps on the shoulder joints

Finally, the leg bones are cut to length.
The knee joints were made earlier, and the feet armatures don’t require any machining, so I can get back to my sewing room next week!

Peace,

Heya Coyote9.
Just wondering how I'd put in an order for one of your dolls. I tried e-mailing you but haven't gotten a response. Do I just put in the order? And how does the queue work?

I just got word this week, that lionows received Rose, but unfortunately Customs seems to think that it was some kind of threat and ripped the doll open.

In my current emotional state, this has me livid and wanting to sue Australia’s Customs for damaging a one of a kind art piece, for no good reason.

Leogunner, sorry for not replying, I have PTSD, am going thru extreme depression and anxiety, and regularly consider suicide.
I am seeing a therapist.
I also don’t make anywhere near a living wage making dolls, and am way behind schedule.
For these reasons, I am NOT TAKING ANY ORDERS FOR DOLLS AT THIS TIME.

When I get closer to to finishing Sekhmet, after Samantha, after Zelda, I will see if I can restructure my price list, and take new orders.

For Zelda, I have finished taping up the elbows for the arm armateurs

Then making the feet armatures that have been sewn to the leg armatures.

I got one armature in its skin and have stuffed.

I’ll continue with the legs next week.

I love those sexy legs!! Zelda's going to be one busty lady too! I cannot WAIT for her to arrive. I am glad I live in Texas. No customs to worry about between different States.

I am sorry Rose got ripped up by customs agents. I am surprised that happened. Such a tragedy to see a beautiful work of art damaged. I hope Rose can be repaired to like new condition.

Ah, sorry to hear that.

You only had to tell me weren't taking orders anytime soon. I know trying to make obligations and reservations can quickly spiral out of control if you're alone. Wish I could help, tho.

Cheers.
